Close to the downtown entertainment area. It was clean and the hotel restaurant was excellent.

The building is on the older side and the rest of the block is a vape store and carparks which are tend to have homeless people and the mentally ill in them.

Nice position really close to the Convention Centre.

Some rooms are very small and not really soundproof.

I didn't see a "resort fee" listed in my booking and they were insisting on charging it. After booking.com spoke with them they didn't charge me. The resort fee is a stretch since you have to pay for a water bottle in your room. There are no resort amenities at this location.

Loud air conditioner. Room window also wouldn't close. Area has unruly vagrant people outside of entrance.

Gorgeous former YWCA that's preserved its original Old Spanish meets Art Deco style. Safe. Great food and drinks -- tip is added to the check so no stress. My room was quiet. Comfortable and relaxing bed and bathroom. Great staff. Felt fine as a solo female traveler. Good security. There's valet parking on site. Easy walk to the convention center or sports arena; nice daytime walk to the LA public library. I felt like I got to experience history past and present. 👍🏼🙂❤️

Bar and Cafe Fig can be noisy. Parking costs extra $55 a day. Plus a hotel $40 services fee.

Check in was easy, staff were friendly. Two choices for car park, 40$per night for public one and 55$ per night for valet. I used valet and it was really good. They give you a card has qr code on it, so before you leave the room, you can text alet to prepare your car in advance. I didn’t have any problem with valet. I visited April, pool starts to get sunlight about 11:30. Pool bar was closed until 5 PM. Room is quite mid size but bathroom is large and clean.

The location was perfect for our downtown excursion to the LA Convention Center, only 3 walking blocks on a safe main street thru downtown. The Crypto Center, Peacock Theatre, and Grammy Museum are next door. We used Uber to visit the Angels Flight and Grand Central Market. Hotel room was clean and checking (we went early) was smooth and accommodating. Host and staff was very pleasant!

Hotel for one night was pricey for average travelers $210 and parking for hotel was $45/day, also pricey. Hotel put $200 deposit for incidentals, also very high. However, we got lucky with parking meters and moving to day lots to cut costs. Also note that entrance is on a one-way street, so if driving or using Uber, be careful to note traffic.

The team are always so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are a very good size and can never fault the service across the hotel - housekeeping, reception, bar etc. The food is fantastic and we ate in the hotel each morning and often when we returned from days out exploring.

There was a large conference in town so two days we could not have breakfast, or there was a wait. Not enough of an issue to rate this place to reflect this as the team were always so helpful, and there are enough places on the doorstep that you can simply head out and grab a bite to eat somewhere else.

We stayed at the Hyatt for a volleyball tournament at the convention center. It was easy to walk back and forth. The parking is expensive but it's easy access when compared to other hotels in the area. I really enjoyed this hotel because it's smaller and everything was easy. I appreciated the free coffee and water. The lobby is a fun hangout area and the restaurant has yummy food. I appreciated the children's menu as well. Each room has a refrigerator and that was helpful. I would stay at this hotel again.

They couldn't put our rooms close together so that was disappointing.

The reception staff were very kind and professional. They arrange surprises birthday cake to my 7 years old daughter. All the reception staff were dealing and treating the gusts on a personal level. Bravo!

Bar staff were less productive and lack professionalism in comparison with the high level of the reception. The breakfast options were limited. Car parking was expensive 53 dollars/day and my car was scratched by the valet staff. They deny it and claimed they had checked my car after I gave it to them - They don’t do the checking in your presence?!-very weird justification. Definitely next time I will not use the hotel valet parking.
