The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice and clean, there were complimentary cookies, the location was nice - quiet neighborhood and not far from the center, very responsive host.

The only thing was no thermostat inside the unit, the AC is controlled elsewhere for the whole house. As our unit was downstairs and not on the sunny side, it was actually pretty chilly. The host replied fast but the only thing we could do was cover the vent with a towel, which eventually helped.

Location was in a great neighborhood. Room was very comfortable and felt safe. SHOWER WAS AMAZING! Room had everything you need.

Jacuzzi was broken, and that was not advertised. Room is definitely not soundproof as advertised. Room is very bright in the morning so if you want dark, suite D is not for you.

I loved all the landscaping and beautiful flowers, the garden was so serene and the rooftop deck was a nice compliment. The entrance to my suite felt private and the neighborhood was peaceful with plenty of parking. The bed was comfy and the room had all the comforts of home away from home.

I wish the AC was a bit stronger, I did have to go purchase a fan to help circulate the free standing AC unit. I also wish there was a small dresser so I could have put my clothes away. All small tweaks and nothing horrible to deal with. The hot tub was out of service and that would have been a nice feature to take advantage of.

We loved the eclectic decor. Room was very large about the size of a 2 car garage. Bed was very comfortable, hi-tech shower was great once we figured out how to use it.

Air conditioner seem to be controlled somewhere else in the house, we had to cover the vents with towels during the nite.

It's a gorgeous place, with a very nice layout.

Some of the lamps didn't work. The hot tub didn't work. The whole garden could do with a tidy up.

It was suppose to be a relaxing destination to celebrate an anniversary. Unfortunately it did not start out completely relaxing as it seemed our room was double booked. Mara did make a huge effort and placed in another room for one night and was placed in our booked room the following day. The room we booked was very comfortable and we enjoyed the balcony upstairs to enjoy the Californian sun and watch the planes fly over. The beach was only a 15 minute walk away and 6 minutes walk to shopping strip where you could get pizza, Italian, subway, donuts, sandwiches and small range of groceries at liquor store. 20-30 minutes can get you to Venice beach or Santa Monica pier via Uber. Overall apart from the initial hiccup it was a nice stay :)

Walls are not soundproof enough to block out couple next door having a long loud argument :(

property was great and had everything in it that you could need. lovely sofa area with tv. large bathroom with great decor

the owner didn’t not communicate with us and on arrival it was only by chance that a neighbour could let us in. then that day we had a note placed outside our apartment saying under new management

The property is in a nice and safe neighborhood with a short walk/drive to the ocean.

my only criticism is the bathroom door is a sliding barn door that doesn’t seal all the way. hard to keep your business private.

My friend JC Calzada booked me this accommodation when I had to evacuate my apartment during the Palisade fire. I was lucky to find accommodations at the Green Ginger. It was a very stressful time, but when I arrived, the wonderful manager Gloria was there waiting for me. She helped me bring my things into my unit and made sure I had everything I needed Gloria was a kind & wonderful person, she helped me and came by every day, to make sure I was all right.

We loved this property. We stayed at the front suite and had a lovely view of the city. We cooked in our suite daily, had coffee on the deck, and we loved walking our pup in the neighbourhood. We always felt safe and we appreciated Gloria (the property manager) outfitting us with extra towels and answering questions about the neighbourhood. Had there been laundry available, we may never have moved out!!! Lol.
