Comfortable hotel with lots of character in small village close to some lovely walking country. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was good and the price of our stay was very competitive. The building has a long history and many of the historic features remain. This limits some of the modern amenities but it was comfortable, the amenities were fine and it was certainly somewhere we would go back to.

The dinner menu was very good, and the food was beautifully cooked. It was above our budget in terms of eating there every night but we enjoyed the meal we had there and there are other options in the area.

I decided to treat myself to a stay at Schlössli Sax for my birthday and had a wonderful weekend :) I loved the warm hospitality of everyone, as well as the little touches- face towels, coffee machine and coffee pods in the room and being able to store my luggage before / after check out. Schlössli had the perfect location if You are planning to do the Saxer Lücke Hike - I walked to the Staubern Gondola and was greeted by many friendly locals in the village. The views and the food were superb too- warm bread at breakfast and home-made jams and high-quality food (including vegetarian options) at the restaurant. Thank You for this lovely stay!

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable as well as provided a lot of space for two people. The breakfast in the morning was delicious with restaurant staff that were very kind and accommodating. We arrived by bus with the bus stop being very close to the hotel!

We checked into hotel very late at night and initially had some difficulty with finding staff to get room key due to slight language barrier, however, were able to contact the owner by phone and email who was able to assist. FYI: No elevator which was fine it wasn't a huge deal for us as we didn't need to walk up that many floors with our luggage.

-The room was very large, extremely comfortable for two people to move around in and not feel overcrowded. -The bathroom had a nice size tub / shower. -Breakfast had plenty of options for us and the staff was extremely welcoming, kind, and attentive. -Comfortable beds

-There was a week long holiday, so we did not get to interact with many staff or try the restaurant, but I'm sure it would have been great. -There weren't many food options in the town (assuming because of said holiday), so had to travel by car to get dinner.

Beautiful view, fantastic restaurant with delicious food. Great location - in the village but close to bigger towns. The room was very comfortable and the personnel was very friendly. Thank you for borrowing me the adapter!

In the summer, I would appreciate the air conditioning, but I was aware it was not there, so I could not complain. The pillow was very small. the bigger one would be more comfortable.

We were planning a stopover for the night and the place looked like good value for money judging by the photos. We did not expect to find a fabulous boutique hotel with a super comfy bed, high ceilings and the most beautiful view of the mountain in the morning. The hotel had a great breakfast cooked by a very friendly man, plenty of choice in cold dishes. Just a shame that their restaurant was closed as the dining room looked amazing!

The staff were very accommodating and provided outstanding service. The food was some of the best we'd had during our stay and we would absolutely go back for dinner, even if our rooms were booked in a different hotel.

Finding a parking space during restaurant hours could be challenging. Dedicated spaces reserved for hotel guests could improve this issue, though the location does not have much room to expand parking. Overall a minor issue, and the only complaint I could think of.

Excellent breakfast, rooms were huge and comfortable. Nice view from the top floor windows in our room. We did a self check in that was easy. The lovely lady that was there when we had breakfast was terrific and made us eggs too.

There is a restaurant in the downstairs we were looking forward to but it was closed while we were there unfortunately. We booked partially due to the restaurant and we were little disappointed as we didn't know it was closed for a staff holiday until we got there. There were no other places to eat close by but we luckily got to the small grocery down the road before they closed.

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel that exceeded all expectations. The beautiful landscape provided a fairytale atmosphere. The room was not only spacious but also impeccably clean and cozy. The hotel's restaurant’ offerings were a delight, with delectable dishes complemented by impeccable service. The friendly and accommodating personnel added a personal touch, making the overall experience truly memorable. This is not necessarily just a knock on just this place but: Swiss food and price you pay is not great. We traveled through Switzerland for close to two weeks and the dinner here was our 1st "Swiss" and it was just "okay" (not memorable) given the price point. Also the Male waiter took literally more than 25 minutes to bring me the check even after telling him twice. My wife went outside and was walking around while I waited. The female waitress was excellent though.....
