The property was had amazing views and Michael was a fantastic host. The breakfast on the terrace was amazing. We were offered drinks wine/coffee/juice on arrival and were helped with our luggage. After dinner in the town it was raining and we received a txt from our host offering us a lift back to the accommodation. The service was above and beyond. The hosts also had 3 lovely dogs. They were kept in a separate area so not intrusive in any way but we were happy to interact with the lovely furry people as well on our holiday. We couldn’t fault it.

Nothing not to like. Just a note that there are many stairs due to the location of the property from the road, and also for the walk down to the centre of Grasse. This is necessary to achieve such spectacular views and was managed well by my spritely 78 year old mother. We took our time and as a result had no problem with this.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff: Michael already texted me to welcome me and gave me very good instructions to find the place. Upon arrival Michael and his friend offered beverages and we had a nice chat; they gave us recommendations for visits & dinner. Later in the evening upon return, again they offered us a drink (night cap). The location was very nice (but a bit challenging if you are not fit or used to climb stairs - no problem for us); the view from the balcony (where we had delicious breakfast) was really wonderful. The room was very clean, comfortable and modern. Perfect location for a short stay in Grasse.

Everything! I was very skeptical about staying in an apartment with the hosts present, but it was one of the best decisions I made on this trip. Amazing people. From the night I arrived, they offered to pick me up, upgraded my room at no extra charge, ordered me dinner and were just absolutely amazing all round. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I can’t rave about them enough. And then there’s the beautiful apartment with absolutely stunning views of Grasse. You can’t visit Grasse and stay anywhere else.

This has nothing to do with the apartment, but you do need to walk up over 200 steps (shorter route) to get to the apartment. Going down the stairs is actually ok. As it takes around 10 minutes walk to get to the town. It’s coming back up that’s the issue (but I’m lazy so it might be a me problem). Alternatively, there’s a longer route, or you can simply order an Uber. Please bear in mind that Grasse is a sleepy town so it sometimes takes forever to get an Uber. But it’s worth it, I promise!

Our hosts could not have been more accomodating and engaging. The property itself is a marvel with small delights spread throughout. From a boutique tea bar and marvelous breakfast to a welcoming glass of wine, every hope was exceeded. Our hosts were even kind enough to provide a ride to and from dinner once they saw my mother is somewhat immobile. I can not recommend this lodging more highly, it was truly excellent.

Grasse itself is extremely vertical, which can be tough to navigate for those who might not be prepared.

It is the best place I have ever stayed. Very hospitable and caring owners, perfectly clean room and bathroom, a comfortable bed and functional, fully equipped kitchenette. Special attention is given to the beautiful garden with fancy pigeons and smart chickens. It’s located within walking distance from the centre and at the same time it’s in a green area with flying falcons around. Excellent breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea, wonderful view.

We really enjoyed our stay at Skylark B&B and will try to stay there again when we return to Grasse. The facilities were excellent and well cared, and the views to the sea from the terrace were breathtaking. But for us, Michael & Eric were the highlight and made our stay so comfortable. They could not have been more hospitable. We arrived a bit late and tired - no problem! They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was really pleasant. We also appreciated that they were extremely informative about everything related to our visit. Our room and all of the accommodation (breakfast area, lounge, terrace) was near perfect. Breakfast itself was superb. Skylark B&B is a cut above other B&B’s.

Skylark B&B is located high above Grasse on a very narrow, steep street, so car parking is a challenge.

Grasse was not only a stop on our road trip, but an unforgettable experience thanks to Michael and Eric. They are perfect hosts and made our stay really exceptional. They gave us the feeling of being welcome from the very first moment and they do everything to make their guests feel comfortable. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and nicely decorated, the food / breakfast is excellent (homemade marmalade, yoghurt.....) and the view from the terrasse is gorgeous. Thanks Michael and Eric for an unforgettable evening on your terrasse - you are great people. And your dogs are also absolutely wonderful!!

This stay completely exceeded all of our expectations. A group of excitable English friends celebrating a 30th birthday. The hosts, Michael and Eric were probably the most accommodating I have ever had the pleasure of being looked after by. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and offered a cool drink upon arrival. No request was ever declined. Michael and Eric helped us to organise a surprise cake and bubbles which was a really nice touch. The bedrooms were immaculate, bright and airy. Complete with delicate lighting, a cooling fan, hair dryer and straighteners. The lounge area was relaxing with something to ponder in every glance, these sprinklings of detail made the stay much more enjoyable. The blooming, well manicured gardens and terrace created a zen like atmosphere. If you enjoy nature this is the place to be. Birds, bees and delightful bushes! Just tranquil! Breakfast was delicious. A selection of pastries, breads, homemade preserves, cheeses, cold meats and pate. Juices, tasty teas and fresh machine coffee. The location was perfect, a short 10 minute walk (down hill) from the centre of Grasse. We travelled into Grasse by Train, we found it difficult to get an Uber so would recommend using the local taxi service. Be prepared to climb some stairs! The stay sure left me singing like a happy little Skylark.

After booking we received detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment and park. A cozy room with designer interior items. In the evening we were greeted like old friends, we had a warm and interesting conversation. In the morning we were fed a delicious and hearty breakfast with a view of the sea and Nice. Thank you for the warm welcome.

Our hosts were amazing, they were very attentive and friendly. My friends and I were there celebrating my 30th birthday and our hosts Michael and Eric arranged for cake and champagne when we arrived which was lovely! There were 6 of us that stayed in the b&b, my friend and I stayed in the cottage which had beautiful picturesque views over grasse, it also had great amenities with an outdoor kitchen and sun loungers looking over the view. Overall we had an amazing stay and we wished we had stayed longer!
