It is a beautiful old renovated building with views of the Vesuvius! Very friendly and helpful staff that helped us with our stay. Breakfast was excellent

A bit far from the town. But if you have car it is ideal

The host was very engaging and greeted us when we arrived with a freshly made lemon drink. It was a beautiful venue, the owner has tried to keep all the authenticity and original features. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here, visited Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. If you didn't want to venture out there is a fantastic roof top where you can bask in the sun and there are wonderful views of the coast.

A bit pricy considering the location, as it is not in the "hot spot". Finding the property was a mission, as it is not well sign posted. It is up slip road and a very steep hill, I was driving round in circles before I could find it, (but that could just be my bad sense of direction). I am not sure how you would get around without a car, but the host is very approachable and I'm sure she can recommend buses, or taxis etc.

Nicest host ever. Spectacular place located in Old Villa (fully renovated floor). Great breakfest (best cornetto we have ever had in Italy during numerous trips) , view from the jacuzzi on the harbour, islands and Volcano Recommend for guests with car (narrow entrance road is not as bad as some other opinions indicate -it is typical italian drive way ) but the 1st drive in might be a bit challenging so Ask host for wiem tips hown to get in. All minor issue compenste the premises and it's absolutely worth it. . Very modern comfortable bed (Continental bed) Highly recommend

The room was beautiful, as seen in the photos posted. Lots of stairs to climb, so difficult if you have luggage. The breakfast was good, enough to get your day started. The only thing is the potatoes and sausages were on a plate, so were cold. I suggested to the ladies they should have another chafing dish to kkeep them warm like the eggs. The other issue we experienced was the turn off from the main road onto the street where they are located is quite tight and steep. We had an SUV so very difficult to make the turn. A warning would have been nice, as well as into their property through the entrance gate. Lastly, you need your car to get around to Castellammare and Naples, so this road is tricky for going in and out. The Villa is beautiful inside, needs some TLC outside, but is beautiful. Spectacular views of Vesuvius from our room.

As mentioned above. We did also experience some late night noise outside our window. Some teens hanging out outside until mid morning making lots of noise. I'm a light sleeper so kept me up.

We weren't sure what to expect from the property to be honest, as it was just a convenient starting point for our next day's tour in Pompeii....it is not the glam side of the Amalfi coast, but it is also not the gritty downtown of Stabia (no need to go downtown- please, just don't). The staff's connection with a van/driver, Gino, was SUCH a lifesaver...he literally made our stay a breeze when we had complicated comings/goings, 9 pieces of luggages, and an evening flight out of Naples! Mario, at the front desk, was enthusiastic and has great pride in the property. It feels a bit like Lady Havisham's home...a bit love worn on the outside, with roses growing from crumbling rock walls...but stunning history and large rooms. The one key per room was a bit tricky to manage w/ our children, but we made it work. The best room out of the 3 we reserved was up on the 2nd floor with balcony and views of the water...gorgeous. Breakfast was held in a lovely sun room w/ blue tiles and billowing drapes. We searched for dinner options within walking distance. One was much more rustic than it appears online (Vittoria Rooftop)...and LOUD, with traffic honking and buzzing below...BUT the pizza there is exceptional. Just expect plastic menus and "the basics", but pizza was amazing. Go for the pizza. HOWEVER, the nearby Don Mimi restaurant was a great find (make reservations). Food was delicious...best bruscetta and calamari fritti of our 3-week trip...all the pastas were delicious. It is very local. We were the only English-speaking guests, which we loved. Again, surroundings were a bit old and worn, but you go fo the food. Views were actually lovely, too, if you can snag a seat by the front of the restaurant. We didn't mind our table in a back corner (no reservation) b/c we had A/C in the 100 degree heat. Be sure you use the directions Mario with send via WhatsApp...he is quick and responsive via WhatsApp!

You just need to expect this B&B to be a historic B&B...without an elevator. So that was tricky for us. Our first impression was a bit unsure but we grew to love the place after our first night there. There isn't much to do in the area without a car or using a taxi...it is perched up high upon a very steep hill. But it ticks a very sweet box for unusual stays while still being a very clean and comfortable place to rest your head while soaking up some history.

The villa is truly amazing and the view was great. The check in was uncomplicated. We took a lot public transport to Sorrent, Capri, Pompeji and Naples which requires a 30 min walk up/down the hill. But Castellammare is a great place to expore the surrounding sights. We were there in November so there was no breakfast but they still provided jam, honey, Nutella make a simple breakfast for ourselves.

Maybe 1 chair more and a small table would have helped us due to the missing breakfast

It was an adorable place, on the mountain side, where there was a beautiful view of Vezuv and the sea. You can chill in the terrace with cocktail in the little pool. The rooms are clean and very good. Last but not least, the staff, was really cute and helpful, especially thank you for Mario to the journeys, and the advices. Everything was awesome, it was a memorable trip for us. Bogi and Oliver

Mario, the property manager, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. I’d highly recommend the place. It’s an old building that’s been renovated - the rooms are gorgeous and the exterior has character.

The property is great. The swimming pool is fairly small, fits 2-4 people max. It is great kept and clean, so that’s a plus. The town is fairly small and not much going on, we walked down (inconvenient path and not comfortable at night) and there wasn’t too much happening.

The view was amazing. The staff were friendly cheerful and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The local surroundings were a joy to explore. Did I mention that the view was amazing?

My wife was a little unwell and struggled with the stairs, but it was worth it.
