Location was perfect for getting to my race at the Royal Park Rajapruek. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything I needed (fridge, kettle, bottled water).

The hotel in general is dated (it was probably a luxury hotel in earlier times), although everything still works and the room is well maintained. Location next to a main road is a little noisy and meant that I had to keep the windows closed and aircon running. Hotel restaurant is not open 24/7 - I was out the 2 days that I stayed there and only got back past 7pm, and the restaurant was closed by then. There are however food stalls just outside the hotel that stay open until 9pm.

The hotel was convenient for visiting relatives who lived nearby. It was close to a large supermarket but a busy road had to be crossed. A convenience store was nearby by easy walk.

We visited during the off season and the restaurant was closed but it was possible to order breakfast in advance and there were restaurants nearby.

Such friendly staff, flexible and accommodating. You could fill your bottles up with free drinking water, I loved not wasting more plastic bottles, plus the water was chilled. Comfortable bed and sofa. Good location for the airport.

It was a bit far out from Chiang mai, it took a 10 minute walk and then a 15 min bus to get in to the city or the other option is to take a taxi which adds up if you do it each time you go out. It was noisy from the planes taking off and the road right next to the hotel. We moved rooms to be furthest from the road, which was better but still noisy. Lastly the WiFi was really bad, unless you were next to the wifi box in the room, you didn't get good signal. This was a big problem for my husband who works remotely.
