Breakfast buffet was amazing, had everything both Western and Asian palates. Rooms were a good size. Gym was large and had everything I need from machines to free weights. The concierge - Stephen Meng was amazing and helped us a lot which really improved our stay. Caught the free shuttle to the airport which was running on the hour every hour. Very convenient and useful. Outside the hotel lots of street food stalls which we tried - started around 5:30pm. very tasty. Also a dry cleaners only about a 5 minute walk away which we used. used the nearby metro to go into the CBD. $175 via Didi yet only $8 on the metro

No it was all superb, apart from couldn't find the free shuttle bus to the hotel from the airport when we landed.

The room was fine with an excellent shower and comfortable beds. Breakfast choices are very good. We also had dinner at the restaurant on one occasion and that too was excellent. Free pick up and drop off at the airport was great. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Had a problem to begin with.... we opened the minibar fridge and found a half eaten apple and other food items. It was sorted quickly but not what you would expect from a quality hotel like this. Also a bit surprised to see some black mould around the bathroom wash basin. Again, not what you would expect.

Breakfast, lounge, gym and staff are all of exceptional quality (some speak English). Very close to the airport, however the shuttle service starts ~ 11 am (?). Metro is 100 m away, but the hotel is quite far from main attractions. So, it is ideal for a relatively short stay between flights. Taxi does not accept credit cards - only cash, address needs to be written in Chinese characters.

Sauna is awful. The cost of dinner ~ $80 AUD is not worth it, frozen fish, crabs and mussels, pizza, pork, etc., However, if you book the club room (9 floor) the dinner price is half ($40 AUD), which is quite reasonable.

Very comfortable hotel, with a convenient free shuttle service from the airport. We only stayed one night but definitely wished we'd stayed longer. Bed was super comfy, and room very spacious. Food at the Garden Cafe was amazing. We enjoyed a Chinese New Year's buffet menu with so much variety (Western & local) and all the fish was so incredibly fresh! Great breakfast as well, large variety of food offered and again great quality. Staff at the hotel was super helpful and attentive and happy to help out with anything we needed. Special shout out to Jane, our host at the Garden Cafe who was super attentive to our young kids and made our stay extra special!

Everything about my stay at the Crowne Plaza, Guangzhou Huadu, was absolutely perfect. The free shuttle bus was easy to find at the airport, and it was a short ride back to the hotel. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and the check-in was quick and smooth. I was in my room at the hotel in just over an hour after landing in Guangzhou. My room was clean and spacious, and there were even a robe plus slippers. There was an excellent selection of food in the restaurant, and again, the staff were friendly and efficient. To top it all, the price per night for the room was very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything is excellent except sauna, which is in a bad condition, it is small and located in the change room. I tried to turn it on and the heating rate was 2-3 degrees per 10-20 min, so I gave up on using it. Very well equiped gym, nice lounge- good selection of food. Beware taxi drivers, some do not use the meter and may ask too much for the trip. Make sure you have the hotel name and directions written in Chinese language. If problems - contact the help desk at the airport.

Add proper sauna and spa, provide more vegetarian/vegan options. Still one of the best hotels with well-deserved rating. Some staff does not speak English at all but it is all manageable as everyone tries to help you.

The breakfast was beyond our expectations! The variety of western and asian dishes was outstanding! We kept coming back for more! The hotel was very accommodating with out ride to the airport, they called us an Uber on them when our shuttle didn't arrive on time. The rooms are good size. Our son was sleeping on the floor and we had lots of room to walk around him.

Although our room was non-smoking, it consistently spelled like second-hand smoke. It wasn't that bad to change the room (and we were there for only 1 night) but was noticed and a bit annoying. We think it was due to air conditioning carrying the air from the ventilation systems from smoking rooms.

2mins walking distance to Qingtang train station. Ms Coco and Ms Che at front desk provide good customer service to guest especially sharing places of attractions in Guangzhou. Restaurant staff, Ms Jane Luo and Ms Suki Yu has good service and polite to the guest. Also recommend transport mode to tourist attractions.

Very close to the metro exit and easily accessible from the airport. Great place to stay for a short stop over. We arrived before 6am and the hotel was able to accommodate for an early check-in for an additional half day room fee which was totally worth it as we were able to sleep and wake up to explore Guangzhou where everything opened after 10am anyway.

We booked this for the proximity to the airport so nothing to complain about. The area around the hotel was a bit dead, even though the map showed shopping malls, the stores seemed to all have gone out of business. We took the metro into the Guangzhou city centre instead which was absolutely fine as the reason for stay was to be close to the airport.
