We loved our room with deck overlooking the back side of property. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Both the water faucets at the bathroom sink and shower could use some attention. Both hard to operate. Left our room at 8:30am one morning, tagged our door requesting housekeeping. Returned approximately 1:30, no service yet. Housekeepers finally arrived more than an hour later at which time we requested only clean towels, garbage dump and to have the bed made. They were in and out in 5 minutes. No service requested the next day. Really missed the continental breakfast.

Nice deck for each river view room looking out over lawns and river. Access to river. BBQ's available (though we didn't use them). Great pet policy. No pet fees. Common sense pet rules. Friendly staff. Well kept. Pool & hot tub - tho they drained hot tub 10/6. Easy walk to restaurants & shops. Real glasses & mugs in room. Double sinks outside tub/shower & toilet room.

Shower water temp fluctuated - perhaps because room 30 was next to laundry room??? Could use more hand towel hooks around the sinks.

The property had a great location with patios overlooking the river. We really enjoyed that. The bed was super comfy and everything was within walking distance.

My biggest complaint was that the product they used to clean the room was a little too fragrant and overwhelming. Some of the fixtures need a little updating. Our bathroom sink only had hot water. The staff was responsive about getting it fixed. We did appreciate that. The only other suggestion I might have is to replace or sand and refinish the back patios. That is just being nit picky.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the customer service was top-notch. However, I want to note that the hotel's pet-friendly policy is excellent, but it's important for dog owners to pick up after their pets and not leave their waste behind. This is crucial to maintaining the hotel's cleanliness and hygiene standards. Overall, a great stay, but please remember to clean up after your furry friends! If not, they will start charging pet fees.

Beautiful location and very clean and comfortable rooms and bathroom. Roxanne is incredibly friendly, helpful and insightful

The only open source for food was the shell gas station or the local bar. We learned this soon after our arrival as it was the winter season. In the winter there is virtually no open buildings whatsoever other than our lodgings and the one of the towns gas stations and the bar.

Room very comfortable and parking directly outside room. Restaurant over the road - easy walk, does excellent breakfast whilst the town has restaurants / cafes for snacks and dinner. Motel does not provide breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful - provide rags to wipe dust off your vehicle following visits to Bodie.

Nothing of note

I loved the sliding glass door opening up to a patio with Adirondack chairs and a grassy area. Just beyond the grassy area was a creek and picnic benches. There were even bbqs to cook meals and a horseshoe game. Very cute and extremely quiet. Everything on the main street is within walking distance.

Honestly, I can't think of anything I disliked.

The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable enough. Lovely setting with many barbecues for guests to use.

It would have been better if the curtains were wider so they covered the windows more thoroughly for privacy and protection from the bright street lights.

The apartment was fantastic. We have two small kids and it gave them plenty of room to play and enjoy their own space. Location was great. The whole town is walking distance which is why we stayed here.
