The Silver Maple is an old style auto court arranged in an L shape around a central park-like area. Suites are separated from the grass and trees by a parking strip. Parking was easy enough and the green space, which included some tables, chairs, and lounge chairs, was a really great spot to relax with a morning coffee or afternoon glass of wine. The suites are smallish, but clean and improvements have been made to try to bring them up to speed. There is air conditioning which was needed when I was there. The bathroom in particular was dated, but adequate The bed was springy, but comfortable enough. . A word of caution: be prepared for altitude if you're coming from lower elevations: the town is at about 6,500 ft. or almost 2,000 m. It certainly can affect your sleeping.

There was no breakfast in the morning or coffee other than what you could make in your room. The bathroom was oddly configured and the commode awkwardly - and uncomfortably - fitted into the room. The cost of the rental seemed expensive, but then again everything in Bridgeport - gas especially - was a lot higher than anywhere else in California. (Bridgeport's on the far side of the Sierras after all.)

Close by to walk for meals at restaurants. Staff was friendly and the grounds were beautiful. The room was very clean but very small. Bathroom was updated with new tile.

The bathroom was just too small. Pedestal sink didn't give counter space for items but a small shelf under the mirror. Small round toilet instead of an oblong shape. Very close to wall sitting at the toilet. Pocket door bc the bathroom was probably no bigger than 4' x 8'. No shelf in small square stand-up shower for shower items except for the dispensers on the wall if using their supplied products.

We were on our way to June lake. But a fire on the highway that prohibited us from getting there. We had just past through Bridgeport, noted how nice it was. Made a very quick reservation while driving back there. They had been experimenting power outages all day. But, sorted out our very recent reservation. The desk clerk was so nice. Place was very clean, and comfortable

The Inn premise is spacious, and the parking is very convenience. The location is right in the center of the town with close access to gas station and nearby eateries.

The room next to us are having parties of their life at the porch and it is very noisy. I only wish the room have better soundproofing but it is totally understandable. The toilet and shower are a little small but manageable.

The manager & staff were friendly and accommodating to our large group. We needed a last-minute room change from upstairs to ground-level and the manager was fabulous to make it happen. We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean & the beds comfortable. Delicious brewed coffee offered in the office and coffee pots & mini-drives in the rooms. The grounds were well-maintained and the location was perfect for our family gathering.

The wood vinyl floors were nice - well-vacuumed but could have used a light mopping.

I thought it was quite quaint and reminded me of Schitt’s Creek

I reserved a room at this hotel because I had a pet but when I arrived, they could not put me in the room that I paid for because that was the only room that did not allow pets. I was downgraded but still had a great time, but had to pay the higher price for my downgraded room because I did it through Booking.com.

The perfect spot for a family gathering. Roxane went the extra mile for us in accommodating our large group. The Cain House is a former Bed and Breakfast with a small & somewhat steep stairway. A senior member of our group was booked in an upstairs room. They went the extra mile to move him into a single story in the Silver Maple Inn. We were all so grateful that we cheered. It was a great stay - we’ll be back!

No breakfast but incredible coffee

The front desk staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and perfect for an overnight stay with our son and his dog Dozer. Beds are very comfortable. The grounds are clean and welcoming to guests and dogs with a big green space with tables and chairs. We would definitely stay here again. The only issue we had was that the shower did not drain well. We advised when we checked out and I feel certain it will be taken care of.

Location was great and the outdoor lawn area was beautiful. I liked the coffee machine and real cups and glasses provided.

I had room 14. It was difficult to cool the room. The air conditioner was loud and kept turning off and on.

The motel was very well maintained and adorable. It was historically significant. The room was very clean and nicely decorated.

The fan in our room did not work, there was no remote or anyway to turn it on. The shower needed written directions on how to turn on and off- for a reason, it was a little difficult to do this simple task.
