Easy access to US 395. This is an older style motel where one parks up to their room, Inside is cozy and smaller than the modern places. Everything we needed was easy to get at and everything works as it should and the room was neat and clean, The staff was very friendly and helpful. I made a reservation error and was too late to cancel, but the staff credit me for the day I wanted, The Internet WI FI is excellent and easy to connect.

The motel has upgrades to key areas like the bath and toilet plus the bed was comfortable. However the room can be freshened up to be more welcoming.

Great hotel....great staff.....excellent value and location. I will continue to stay at the Redwood everything I go to Bridgeport which will be often.

I didn't eat breakfast at the Redwood. My only minor complaint has to do with their choice of toilet. Yes...I'm weird. However...unless you're under 5 feet tall...when you sit down to use the facilities get ready for a hard landing. The toilets are so short and close to the floor you land hard and need to rope off to get up! My suggestion.....16 inch toilets at a minimum. That's my only minor complaint.

Incredibly kind host with lots of recommendations for this area! Went to Travertine Hotsprings in the morning which was an amazing experience. The room was clean, bed was comfy and the complimentary snacks were great. Bridgeport is really what I picture in my mind when I think of an American town, in the best way possible. If you're looking for cute gifts and souvenirs from the area, go to Sweetwater Outback. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in the area, highly recommend this place!!

Don't park under the tree unless you like bird poop!

Location to the 4th of July celebrations. I like small Motels as the parking is close to the room and generally have a more neighborly friendless in regard to your neighbors at the Motel.

Cleanliness then the firmness of the mattress. Their mattress in the room I was staying at was medium firm, but without lumps or unevenness. I like a firm mattress. So they are better than most Motels I have stayed at.

I've stayed at the Redwood Motel a few times. It is conveniently located on US395 at the north end of the very small town of Bridgeport. The facility is clean but aged. The bathtub is flaking and needs recoating. It isn't cheap but it's priced better than other local venues. I particularly like being able to unload from the car to the front door (unlike at the Bridgeport Inn where I had to carry my belongs upstairs to a minuscule room).

The room could use some renovation. It is tired.

I recently stayed at this motel for three nights. I decided on this property because of the price and location. I was checked in by a very friendly young lady (wish I got her name) who explained all the particulars about my stay. The next day I had a question and spoke to a nice older gentleman, he too was very helpful and friendly. The room was basic, but that's all I needed. It was clean, tidy and the water pressure in the shower was great. An added bonus was free ice for its customers, that was nice. I would definitely recommend Redwood and I'll stay here again if I'm in the area and in need of a place to stay. All in all a great stay at Redwood Motel.

It was comfortable for what we needed

Complimentary breakfast cakes purchased at a grocery store. Big box store would improve quality and variety especially to guests who manage life on low carb even if they traveled to Mammoth weekly. Emphasis on asking to limit fresh towels n room change with reward a cup of coffee at the office. Owner expressed limited use to conserve water, which I agree with, but more likely to reduce overhead cost after arrival. Remote batteries need to be checked and replaced as needed if people want to watch tv. Sheets and towels likely purchased at a used towels & sheets swap meet.

The staff greeted us with kindness, was willing to talk and give us a little advice on where to eat. After we checked in we took their advice and ate at the RHINO. It was good food and full of happy people. The room was clean, the shower was nice and hot and beds were comfortable. The room was cleaned when we were out and about the 2nd day. Check out was easy.

A kitchen unit and a hot tub would be a nice addition.

Loved that they had a fish cleaning station and the little extra’s that go along with it. Nice seating area outside your room. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. The morning danish and juice was a nice touch. Ice machine was convenient . Also liked that you had drinks for sale. Room and bed were comfortable. Definitely will be staying here again!

We did a lot of sight seeing and it was very comforting knowing we had a warm, quiet room to come back to. The office staff was very knowledgeable about the best places to see the fall colors. We had an issue with the TV and the lady with the awesome colorful jumper came to our room and gave us instructions on navigating the remote. .
