The Carpentry hotel is a wonderful boutique experience in downtown Dalton, GA. We stayed for a local wedding in Tunnel Hill. The hotel was so wonderful. Our room was great, bed was comfy, and the staff so pleasant and helpful! Loved Twist bar. Such a great spot and the vibes were perfect. Drinks good too! Loved the little treats and coffee bar they offered in the mornings. Would absolutely stay here again!
The only thing I didn’t like is there was not an actual door to the bathroom, just a sliding door with a gap. I’m also a firm believer in more hooks in the bathroom or near the main door so you can hang things and towels. Everything else was perfect!

Whenever I come for work and have to do work at one of the Hospital properties, I prefer to stay here. The location is excellent and I love that. It’s walking distance to multiple delicious and affordable restaurants. The staff is extremely friendly and meets every need. The complementary breakfast is perfect. The rooms in overall hotel is just so well designed, so cute and feels so fancy. This is one of the few hotels I’ve ever stayed in where the pillows are so comfortable. I can actually get a good night of sleep.. They have a large functional and comfortable desk in the room, which I take advantage of for getting work done. I also love that there is cocktail bar/rooftop lounge.. This is the only place I want to stay when I come to town.
Overall, this is a minor inconvenience, but the showers are not enclosed, and I don’t stay warm in the shower. However, the bathrooms are absolutely beautiful and well appointed and I would not let this make me not want to come to this beautiful hotel.

Great architecture and comfortable rooms with plenty of space. One of a kind special stay.
Local restaurant’s customers use the hotel’s parking lot. No space available and you may need to park your car on the street parking lot or as the front desk employee said I could park across the under construction street at a restaurant’s lot if there are available space. When I left early in the morning/next day there was 11-12 available spaces in the hotel lot. Hard to understand paying hotel customers don’t have a parking space because of non paying cars in the hotel’s lot.

This was an adorable boutique hotel located right near downtown Dalton. We loved the mood lighting, quirky decor, art displays, and comfort provided here. We stayed in a queen double room. The beds were very clean and comfortable. No sign of stains or bugs or anything like that. Everything seemed clean and updated. The room had a large tv, wifi, mini fridge, desks, side table, adjustable curtains, and a very large beautiful bathroom. The showers were amazing featuring a cute stylish color pallet and adjustable water pressures in the shower with double head & wand. We loved the roof top and it was a nice touch to our weekend getaway. I would stay here again and recommend this location to others. It was a unique experience and much different than the regular chain hotels we see.
One complaint is that there were so many outside guests that came to visit that I didn't get to order a drink at the roof top. There should be a VIP or separate area to order for the hotel guests in my opinion. My only other complaint is that from the moment we walked into the bathroom of our room it smelled badly of sulfur or sewage at the floor drain. We were able to cover the drain with a rug provided for the shower area to minimize the smell. We also notified staff so hopefully that can be taken care of for the next guest.

New hotel- very nice, comfortable clean rooms. Izzy checked us in at the front desk and she was very welcoming and personable. We loved sitting on the upper patio...pretty views, plenty of tables, chairs and umbrellas. Great place to visit with family!
They could use extra coffee carafes on weekends. Poor breakfast...just sweet pastries. Would have been nice to have some bananas, cereal boxes, yogurt- especially on Sundays when the cafe across street is closed.

This boutique hotel nestled in downtown Dalton, GA was a jewel. It's modern exterior with every amenity was amazing. Great detail in every design detail, color choice and art piece. We loved having a bar/lounge on the second floor. It could be enhanced by some additional social media, lighting outdoors and possible fans/misters during the super hot months. Highly recommend this hotel if you ever need to spend time in Dalton. It's close to some great restaurants and shops as well - bonus!!

The location was really convenient to my company's office. I also liked how I could walk to restaurants.
Breakfast could have been better. I had one of the free pastries, but I was not impressed. I would be willing to pay more for a larger breakfast. I usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express and missed having a warm breakfast like that (pancakes, bacon or sausage, oatmeal, juice).

Comfortable beds, convenient location. Towels were great. TEMPERATURE CONTROL WAS AWESOME!
We didn't have handsoap until we asked for some. Soap in showers were not practical to dispense. Coffee setup not ideal A checklist for house keeping might be helpful.

Did not have breakfast(available) It was a luxury hotel which was only a little more money than we normally spend. We are planning to redo our bathroom with similar tile. We were only in town to work on my sisters house, but it was very nice
