A TRU-hotel always gives you the quality and cleanliness that you expect, which is great. I had some extremely loud neighbors above me and next to me, and the reception staff made sure I got a new room after mentioning this to them.

It wasn't always nice to sit in the reception area, but the hotel probably can't help this. For example: during breakfast the reception area seemed to be a children's playground with kids constantly running around and dropping food on the ground. But again: this is because of a terrible education by one of the guests, it's not the hotel's fault.

I love the fact that you could actually come to the Lobby and play Games and pool. It was nice to actually have something to do if you didn’t wanna leave the Hotel. Also the Front Desk Staff was absolutely Awesome! Very Friendly and Welcoming.

There was a lot of outside Noise due to the Traffic and you could hear the guests above you when they walked around it was kinda loud especially if you were trying to sleep in you couldn’t with the noise

Everything was great! Staff, accommodations, breakfast, cleanliness, proximity to things we wanted to do.

No fault of the staff, but there was a big storm that knocked out power to the elevators, so we had to use the stairs when bringing our luggage down. To their credit, they shut the elevators down while a warning light was flashing right away and nobody was stuck.

The rooms were really nice, I liked the soap dispensers😂 When we asked for extra towels for the room they came quickly. They nicely put me and all my family on the same floor right next to each other.

The breakfast on our second day was horrible. The lady who was cooking was very slow, only putting out 5 omelets at a time even thought there was 10 plus people waiting. When we asked her to bring out anything or refill utensils she would catch an attitude. We were group of 7 and were told we all could go to the pool together, then another receptionist said we couldn’t. They went back and forth about it multiple times with multiple people.

The hotel was perfect for my family. It was a last minute booking, but was very affordable. The location was ideal as it was located not far from the family we were visiting in Sumter. The booking included daily breakfast which included a variety of hot and cold breakfast food. The food was delicious and available at a reasonable time frame 7-10 am. The availability of coffee, tea, and hit chocolate all day was a nice bonus. The lobby area was great for lounging and hanging out. The staff was extremely friendly. The check in and check out times were also accommodating for people like us that were from out of town.

With is being a last minute booking, I didn't bring my own cleaning supplies. The rooms could use a deep clean in the corners and crevices where there was visible dust and particles. The counter in the room had a medium sized sticky spot on it. I didn't recognize it until after I had set my handbag on it and tried to pick it up. There was also a smaller water spot stain on the night stand. I know that housekeeping staff is probably understaffed and overworked. All of these issues I could have resolved had I planned a stay earlier. Again these things are minimal in comparison to the overall experience which was excellent.

The front desk staff was very polite and attentive, loved the lemon and sugar hand wash, body lotion and body wash, the bed sheets were super soft and beds were very comfy. I also enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the lobby. Breakfast was very good and convenient to take on the go.

My only complaint is that our room (214) absorbed a lot of noise for several hours both nights we were there. It sounded like people were rolling bowling balls and rolling chairs and/or pushing furniture around. Also the cleaning staff was very loud in the hallway the last morning we were there.

We liked that they had some complimentary breakfast

Our shower had 3 soap dispensers but no body wash. It had a hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner mounted in there, and the sides of the bottles were dirty. There was also a lot a lot of noise at night and in the early morning that kept us up.

I love that the place look just like the pictures on the website… It has so many nice stuff to do in the lobby, from playing pool to lounging in the lounge are.. my son loved the hot chocolate and tea that was available…

Only con I can talk about is that the pool are had lots of water where the seats was which was dangerous but besides that the pool was nice and clean and quite, when we went it was only me my son and mom..

Very comfortable mattress. Was nice to have usb plugs by the bed. Nice updated shower.

Unfortunately, I was in a room by the elevator and had kids running around both mornings. Pretty noisey, but kinda expected in that spot and not the fault of staff.

Everyone was quite welcoming and polite at all hours. Indoor pool was a salt water vs chemical pool... Very nice surprise.

Pool needed to be cleaned, but the staff got on it pretty quick. So, maybe do a random check of it.
