I had a suite on the top floor with an incredible view of the Nile and also the pyramids in the distance. The suite was very spacious and very comfortable. The staff at the hotel (including the restaurants) were always helpful, friendly and professional. Compliments to all of them! The Solis restaurant was very good and I dined there several times.

Here's the main flaw. My suite on a top floor had an adjoining door to another suite. I stayed 5 nights but unfortunately during my last 2 nights someone occupied the adjoining suite. One night at 4:30 a.m. I was awakened by the loud TV noise coming through the closed door. I called the front desk and the TV was eventually turned down, only to be awakened again at 7:30. This time no one at the front desk answered my call. Also, other "noises" were clearly audible during my last 2 days. At times, one would have thought they were in my room. Anyway, it was an unfortunate experience to an otherwise wonderful stay, at least for the first 3 nights. So, do not get a suite with an adjoining door to another suite. The noise easily seeps through.

We chose this hotel primarily because of the suites, as we were traveling with children, and its location with a view of the Nile River. I must say, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was convenient in every way, equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen, wardrobe, and private laundry. The room was clean and comfortable with a stunning view of the river. The Maadi area seemed quite safe to us. There is a very good supermarket near the hotel. The room was quiet, with hardly any noise from the road. The hotel breakfast was simply excellent. The staff were very pleasant, and no one disturbed us or pushed additional services.

We had a fantastic time during our stay in the one-bedroom Nile Suite. The view was absolutely incredible, especially at sunset, with the pyramids visible in the distance. Although the suite didn’t have a balcony, it worked out perfectly since there were a lot of mosquitoes outside. The washer and dryer in the suite were a big plus for convenience. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant’s food was good, and the suite section of the hotel was impressively clean overall. The hotel is located in Maadi, a greener and calmer neighborhood compared to much of Cairo, and it’s not too far from the main attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others!

I had an amazing three-night stay in a suite at the Holiday Inn & Suites - Cairo Maadi. 1. The staff were incredibly welcoming ( especially Mr. Hassan in the reception welcoming he was so friendly and professional), and the suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views of the Nile. 2. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchenette and laundry room added a homey touch. 3. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the on-site restaurants served a variety of tasty dishes. 4 The fitness center and outdoor pool were great for relaxing. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cairo.

What an amazing hotel. I was staying here after surgery so booked an apartment that had a Nile and pyramids view so that I could lie on the sofa and watch the world go by daily as I knew I would be in the room 24x7 for several days. The room was so well equipped with pretty much everything you could possibly need. All the staff were brilliant—polite, friendly and helpful and many English speakers among them. Mohamed, the housekeeping guy who looked after my room (2701) was particularly cheerful and helpful.

This is only a teensy-weensy criticism—although the hotel has umpteen kitchen utensils, there wasn't a single pair of normal scissors in the place. For some reason, the rooms have those strange, several-bladed ones used for cutting herbs. I've only ever seen them in Egypt.

One significant issue was with housekeeping. On one occasion, I found a staff member in my room despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign being displayed on the door. When I asked the staff members why they entered, they seemed caught off guard and were unable to provide a clear response. This lack of respect for privacy was concerning and needs to be addressed. Despite these minor issues, my overall experience at the hotel was still incredibly positive.

There were a few areas that could be improved. One significant issue was the cleanliness of the floor. Upon arrival, I noticed that the floor of the suite was not as clean as I had expected. There were a few stains, and it did not have the crisp, clean feel typically associated with a well-maintained hotel. Although the housekeeping staff was responsive and promptly addressed my concerns when I requested it, encountering this issue initially was disappointing. Despite these minor issues, my overall experience at the hotel was still incredibly positive.

front desk. they are very unfriendly. they never smile, never greet guests or even replay greeting, they don’t explain the bill and are not welcoming when I asked for a statement. actually they tried to charge me on arrival without even telling me how much they are charging on my card! look at comments and you’ll also notice others are complaining of this. it might be a management issue.

Great and well equipped suites with very nice view. Some of the staff were so professional. They allow me to do early check in at 10 am. The helped me with weighting my bags before leaving and helped me to find the right terminal and hall of my flight.

Some of the recipients were not friendly. I asked one of them about the reason why they’re taking a copy of my passport, instead of explaining why he was rude till the manager come and handled this. Also there is no doctor in there, my brother was sick and they offer me doctor for 1000 EG!

Great Location and easy access. Excellent service. We had a small mishap in our booking and had booked a smoking room. So when I was checking in to the hotel, I mentioned this and they did not have any non-smoking rooms. Mr. Sayed - The duty manager upgraded us without any extras. Great view of the city at night. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The laundry facilities were a lifesaver. The breakfast buffet was nice and had a decent variety. We did order a few meals via room service, and it was good too,
