It’s a small, charming and spotless hotel – either newly built or recently renovated (I’m not sure exactly when) – and it offers free underground parking spaces. My room was compact but perfectly adequate (especially as I was travelling alone), tastefully furnished, and impeccably clean. There are two saunas – one up to 60°C and the other up to 100°C – plus a relaxation room, two pools, and lovely views. Both pools allow children. Unfortunately, in the relaxation room and sauna you can hear children shouting. In summer, meals are served outdoors, which is pleasant for parents enjoying a child-free dinner, as the children can play outside. The guests were of mixed ages. The staff were very friendly, and the food was good. Portions are on the smaller side, which is ideal when working through a five-course menu. I never eat a sweet dessert, which was the only option offered. Thankfully, they kindly provided me with a very tasty cheese plate instead. The hotel appeared to be fully booked, or close to it, which probably explains why it was a little noisier than I’d hoped. But then again, it was right in the middle of the holiday season.

In my opinion, four-star hotels – especially in Austria, a country renowned for tourism – really shouldn’t still be using wall-mounted hairdryers. Unfortunately, this one did: it overheats quickly and then switches itself off, equally quickly. Also, there’s no steam room.

Breakfast was excellent. Extensive choice in terms of continental. Loved the hotel design and general feel of of it. Great ski & boot room. Staff very friendly & helpful. Can ski back to hotel.

Cooked breakfast option is odd & limited in that every day there is an egg special....take or leave. Would be better if all the specials were on the menu each day and you could choose. This is the extent of the cooked option. You also had to choose your dinner option from two choices; one meat and one veggie. So very limited dinner options and had to choose at breakfast time. Again for a quality hotel this was odd and won't suit everyone. No shuttle service offered to ski lifts. The nearest lift is very close but does require a bit of effort down a narrow path, through a builders yard then a walk. Possibly 1k. Main resort of Saalbach further away and shuttle would help get to heart of things although there is a frequent ski bus again from about 1k away.

Amazing team that was super welcoming and really cared and looked after us! My lactose intolerance was no problem for them! Communication even before arriving was excellent and super speedy. Felt like staying with family in a way. The sauna and both pools were such a nice addition and always super clean. Breakfast buffet style was nice and also had some vegan options if needed. Parking was available in front of house and in the parking garage. Dinner was 4 course menu that in our case could be booked additionally and we had to inform team at breakfast- we chose this twice and both times it was very good- and it blended a mix of Austrian traditional cuisine and modern influences One of the best things was definitely the house and you could tell that a lot of care went into the design.

Mini fridge was mentioned in link provided but we unfortunately didn’t have one- which would have been nice in the super hot weather to keep drinks cold etc.

Everything was great! Staff was really exceptionnaly kind, and helpful, making our stay completely relaxing. Facility is very tasteful and stylish, every detail was very well toughtthrough. Spa and wellness is wonderful, and the food is delicious. They pay attention to allergies/intolerances, always offered options for my husband who is gluten and lactose intolerant. The owner and the Team also greeted me on my birthday with a very nice card and housewine, so they really treat all their guest super unique. I can only recomend this place if you want to spend great time.

We loved every second we spent in Haus Jausern. Warm welcome, nice room of pretty good size, well-equipped, dog-friendly with parking in the garage. Great food, also the selection of wines, coffee of very good quality. We loved the pool and the garden, close to unlimited hiking routes and the joker card included in the stay is allowing you to use the cable cars for free.

Good was delicious. Wellness Is perfect. Nature Is beautiful with very good condition for gravel riding

Cleaning equipment for bikes is missing - opportunity for improvement

The property is stunning, in the middle of the mountains. We have received very friendly welcome and lovely apartments. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! We loved our relaxing time spent at the pool and around the property. We will definitely come back if we are around :)

Super friendly and helpful staff! Rooms were nice and clean! The location pretty good! Modern and nice looking hotel with really nice wellness area! Everything what you wish for was there!

Beds are not too comfortable and hard in my opinion, but that’s normally for everyone different! Besides that…all perfect!

Everything! Relaxed atmosphere, amazing sauna and resting area, great breakfast and dinner, a bit price but beautiful!

In the summer, insect nets are mandatory since spiders can enter the room and are unpleasant…and is nice to sleep with an open window.
