I had the absolute pleasure of spending my 30th birthday week at this incredible hotel, and I couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful experience. My sister and I stayed for 7 days, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt like a dream. A very special thank you goes to Maria, the heart and soul of this place. She’s more than a manager – she’s a miracle worker. There is no such thing as impossible with her. Whether it was organizing last-minute plans, recommending hidden gems around the island, or simply making sure we felt truly at home, she did it all with grace, warmth, and a smile. The views were breathtaking, the room was perfect, and the energy of the place made every sunrise and sunset feel like a celebration. This wasn’t just a stay – it was an experience, filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Santorini will always hold a special place in my heart, and that’s thanks in no small part to this wonderful hotel and the incredible people behind it. I’m already dreaming of coming back.

My husband and I were blown away by the attentiveness of the staff. Maria at the front desk and Athinos were incredibly helpful and always checking to see if we had everything we needed and more. Breakfast each morning was a blessing, and super healthy. The breakfast changed every morning which kept things very interesting. The location was very close to Fira about a 10-15 minute walk and about a 45 minute walk down to the Old port of Fira for our boat cruise. Excellent location. The bus station is just a five minute walk from the accomodation at Karterados Bus station. Very easy to get to. Buses took only cash of about 2-2.5 euros per bus trip. There is a small minimart full of little snacks and water bottles for your holiday just around the corner of the hotel (on the way to the bus station). I will say don't drink the water on Santorini. Only drink bottled water. Thank you Maria, Athinos and the other staff for making our holiday just magical.

When you do laundry just remember to have cash to pay upon check out of 10 euros a basket. That is pretty much it.

Absolutely beautiful!! So clean and modern! Our room was clean and spacious however bathroom was a little on the small side! And the showers don’t have doors so the entire bathroom ended up wet! Pool area and outdoor areas were soo pretty well maintained. Check in was easy enough considering we checked in quite late in the night, instructions provided with a key to our room. Maria was brilliant and really done everything she could to help, some days even providing us with late breakfast as we would miss it due to the hangovers lol!

TV in our room did not work!

My wife and I were treated like royalty here. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. The room was beautiful and clean and the private hot tub was a great touch and a main part of the reason we stayed here. The included breakfast was incredible. It changed slightly every day and included both sweet and savory options which was perfect for us. Lastly, the host, Maria, could not have been more gracious and helpful. She gave us a full rundown of the island with recommendations for each major area and assisted with booking an ATV rental and catamaran tour. Highly recommend staying here.

very neat apartment in a nice Santorinian design with all the necessary equipment. Extremely professional and friendly service. Breakfasts are tasty and varied but there is not always space for all guests (depending on the time) so there is also an option of breakfast in the room. The hotel is located quite far from the center of Fira, but it has good and close bus connections. There are also shops, bars and restaurants nearby so you don't have to go all the way to Fira to eat something. The hotel is great for both couples and families of four.

the location makes it a bit difficult to be somewhere else every day if you don't have enough physical condition and wilingness

The stay at the hotel was wonderful. Wonderful place, very well maintained, clean and spacious suites with private jacuzzi on the terrace. Coffee machine, mini bar, bathrobes, slippers, daily cleaning available in the suite. The daily breakfasts exceeded our expectations - wonderful, tasty, fresh with a great selection of coffees. Our stay was so wonderful thanks to Maria, who helped to plan the whole stay, recommended various activities and restaurants to visit. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and we will definitely return here in the future! :)

I usually don't bother to leave reviews, but in this case, I simply have to. A huge thank you to the hotel administrator, Maria, for her kindness and attention to every guest. My husband and I have been to many different countries and hotels, but we have never encountered such support anywhere else. She recommended great places for us to visit and spend time. Additionally, my husband has diabetes, so he cannot eat many things. Maria took this into account, and we had a customized menu. The menu in general is tailored to guests' preferences, which is very nice. The hotel is also very clean and cozy. Our room was cleaned every day. I sincerely recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself is wonderful. We had a somewhat inconvenient location, as we were staying far from the city since the hotels in the city were too expensive for us. So, this is probably the main drawback: you have to either walk everywhere or rent a car or a quad bike

We had a wonderful stay at Emerald's Connection Suites in Karterados. Maria was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. She assisted us in arranging transportation and provided information about the bus schedules, which made getting around much easier. On top of that, she gave us a room upgrade that allowed us to rest really well. The outdoor pool and the private jacuzzi in the room were an absolute treat. A big thank you to the entire team for this unforgettable experience!

We stayed at Emerald for one night before flying home after a long week full of wedding events. For a couple who needed an easy and relaxing 24 hours, this place was perfect. Maria the receptionist/host was amazing and very friendly. We were placed in a new room upon arrival which was an upgrade and the facilities rounded off our holiday in great fashion that we are very grateful for. The breakfast also was very good and gave a lot of variety which we happily ate all up to start our day. Our only regrets is that we didn’t get to stay a bit longer than one night as the area was very scenic and away from the more lively Thira town.

Can’t say a bad word about the place.

Me and my wife found the hotel to be excellent. Completely worth it. Very good decoration and very clean overall. Maria from the front desk gave us a superb service with excellent suggestions regarding fun things to do in Santorini as well as good places to eat authentic greek food. She was able to coordinate for us the renting of an ATV to explore the island. She made the arrangements to have the ATV delivered to us to our hotel. Additionally, she also made arrangements to pick us up from the airport and also to get us to the airport upon departure. The suite was clean, beautiful and had a jacuzzi with an amazing view. We had breakfast every day and it was delicious, and they have room service to deliver the breakfast to your room, which we did a couple of times. Definitely worth the money, and would go again.
