This is a lovely little hotel, a five minute stroll from the central square with lots of nearby restaurants. The breakfast selection was excellent, with plenty of alternatives for people who want something other than bread or croissants. The owners and staff are friendly and their focus is you, the client. Our room was big, with an entrance lobby, seperate toilet, seperate bathroom, and the actual bedroom was spacious, with a large, comfortable bed, and two armchairs and a table. They have two outside spaces for sitting and an assortment of bikes to hire at 12€ a day. Loved it.

No complaints

First of all we were greeted in such a friendly and helpful way. He took time to tell us about the local attractions, places of interest and good places to eat. Our room was nicely fitted out. There was a garden in which we could sit at one of the many tables.

Excellent location in the centre of the old town, an easy walk to the Corderie Royale or the many restaurants. Good breakfast, quiet room.

Only public parking is available, although the owners were very helpful in helping us find street parking (not difficult), people with precious cars might think twice

Really friendly family run hotel in a brilliant location in the center of Rochefort. They were really helpful, and the home made cakes at breakfast were lovely. Room was well furnished, quiet and comfortable.

I didn't realize the reception was closed on Sunday afternoon and I arrived unexpectedly early, so I had to visit a bar for an hour.. not a disaster!😭

Loved Everything ! With Professional charm and warmth ,the owners have perfected and thoughtfully created a little oasis of home , with rather tasty food too ! For us one of our favourite little hotels in France ! Thanks Tatiana and Andrew for having us . We will return ! Lynn and Ron

Town centre , friendly welcome . The receptionist spoke clear , understandable French . Large room , comfortable bed , good bathroom. Coffee machine and kettle. Good breakfast . Easy street parking outside the hotel , small charge .

Delightful beautiful old property. With all the touches from a couple who obviously take pride in their accommodation. Very stylish touches (loved the basin over the toilet!). Excellent breakfast.

The hotel is ideally situated close to the centre and all the attractions of Rochefort but in a tranquil area. Easy parking following the advice of the hotel owner. Good breakfast

There was nothing not to like

Very close to the town and amenities. Friendly and helpful owners. Easy to park in streets nearby. Good base for coast and day in La Rochelle. Liked the environmental considerations. Good range of items for breakfast.

Minor point: Towels could be bigger and thicker.

This is a gem of a hotel. Well situated in the centre of the cultural, historical and shopping areas of Rochefort. It is extremely well run by the very friendly proprietors and has excellent well decorated and equipped rooms. It is easy to reach restaurants and all the amenities of Rochefort from the by walking. The breakfasts are very, very good: try the home made brioche if it's available! Car parking on street is made easier with advice from the proprietors - who wwere also very helpful with recommendations for and booking of an evening meal.

On street parking - but that was made easier by the owners advising a range of different options. Initially we were concerned about the building work along the street - but this is all historical renovation and the adjacent building will soon look beautiful
