The decor of not only our room but of the whole hotel was fantastic. We spent some time relaxing in the outdoor area including the pool, surrounded by tall lush plants. The restaurant was closed in the evening which wasn't a problem as there are lots of places to eat just down the road. It was open at breakfast but we only had coffee so I can't comment on the food. The coffee though was amazing. A pour over that was smooth, hot, not bitter and had lots of flavour. Heaven. I know, you can't base going to a hotel just because they serve a good coffee but I had to mention it. Staff were helpful and pleasant but zero English. You know it is a Spanish speaking country so between our very bad Spanish and patience we all figured it out. Actually it was fun. So, probably one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in where you feel you have just won the lottery and picked a real winner. Oh, and as a bonus the room was nice and quiet. No street noise.

Always a problem for us in Mexico, which Tap is the hot water in the shower. Should have asked when we checked in. So it was a little brisk.

Wow, what a beautifully designed and decorated hotel. I so love that all of the rooms are each themed off of a different significant Woman in Mexican history. Fascinating to learn about. The room was very spacious and had a huge bed. The staff were also very kindly understanding that I arrived quite early and feeling a bit unwell, due to a long overnight ADO bus ride. They were able to get me in a room a bit earlier, so I could rest. The pool among all of the lush plants was delightful to dip into as well. Truly a little oasis among the hustle and bustle of central Tapachula. Very accessible to the nearby big market area as well. Would highly recommend to stay here, if you are looking for something cozy and delightful for your stay in Tapachula. :)

Absolutely one of the most original and beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in, like an Art museum. great plants in courtyard too. Spotlessly clean. Frida Kahlo room was a treat.

It was quiet even though it was in city center. My girls enjoyed the pool. The staff was very attentive and eager to please.

The neighborhood was not the best. Restaurant opened until 7:30 am. Rooms were small.

A lot of plants and art, niece concept, great price for the quality. We are definitely coming back.

I wouldn’t give it 5 stars cause it’s quite aged. The days we were there restaurant didn’t work, so we couldn’t have breakfast or dinner on place. Also consider that windows overlook the courtyard with the pool and if there are kids playing, it becomes noisy.

We only had a short stay, only long enough to eat and sleep before we moved on early in the morning. The entire place was gorgeous, a perfect little oasis. We loved the pool area even though we didnt go in, it looked like a tropical paradise. Our shower was very hot and had great pressure. The staff went out of their way to help us and even suggested a place for us to eat.

The only thing that would have been better was if the bed was softer, it wasnt bad, it was a very nice quality - just hard for our taste. We are getting old and everything hurts! It would be great to have some hair conditioner, our room only had shampoo and us gringos get really frizzy without it. Not the end of the world, we loved the entire experience and not having hair conditioner was not a big deal.

Really nice charming hotel, very close to the center. Restaurant had delicious food. The decoration of this hotel is priceless.

Location, no parking (if you had a rental), no coffee in rooms, no English news TV.

Charming hotel in perfect location for accessing city center of Tapachula. This is my second time staying in the hotel. Small, nice pool to cool off on hot days, and good A/C in rooms. Able to order drinks and snacks, but unfortuantely the restaurant was closed. Staff is lovely and very helpful. Very safe and very clean. I am looking forward to the next visit.

WiFi in rooms is not so strong, but it is strong in front receiption area and outside in courtyard.

It is green and charming, the best place in Tapachula.

The restaurant is a little bit pricey for what the serve but the quesadillas are the best meal and the coffee is excellent.
