Lovely hosts, calm location with good parking opportunities, delicious Italian breakfast in a sunny room. Nothing fancy, but we had all that we needed! :) And the host was very welcoming and responsive. Would definitely stay again!!!

The mattresses were a little worn out to our liking, but we got a good night's sleep anyway. The room needs a little of airing, but that is the same everywhere in Italy at the beginning of season. But as I said, nothing too bad :-)

When we arrived to Catania we already have reservation for another apartment not at Nonna Nina. We were very suprised after check-in when we didn't get what we ordered, the room was disaster. Nonna Nina apartment was our rescue. The reservation was super fast, literally within couple minutes everything was done. The apartment is big, very clean and nice, ours was also with a balcony. Breakfast was prepared in our room. We only stay for two nights and still we have room service next day ! Very nice experience. Thank you.

Very beautiful and spacious room, modern and fresh. Great beds and matrassen! Wonderful bathroom with great shower, would like to have that bathroom at home!. With airconditioning. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. Free parking in front of the building.

The only small thing was that the mini fridge hardly worked and we would have liked really cool drinks with this heat outside.

The breakfast was standard "Italian", enough to statisfy the hunger yet nothing to look forward to. Still a nice terrace. The room was lovely attended. The self check in fast and efficient. Close to bus station if you need to rely on that. Nice walk to seaside restaurants and bars, if you like walking. Other restaurants and bars are inside the hexagon, if you prefer not to walk too much.

The shower needs maintenance. There was an acid strong smell from the bathroom chiffons coming out that was hard to ignore the last two days. Probably due to the rain. The A/C needs maintenance as it doesn't really work and the inside and outside units are too loud. Especially the outside units and not just from this room. I couldn't open the door or use the balcony for that reason.

Extra bed for the smallest. Large bathroom with large shower. Upper terrace. Close to the market. Easy parking on the street. The room was cleaned every day.

It's not guaranteed that you'll get bread, because some guests are stocking up. Eggs and hot dogs are cold. I expected more from breakfast. The staff is a bit reserved. I expected the owner to introduce herself or a more homely approach. You cannot use the kitchen, even though it says it is available on request.

Clean and comfortable B&B with nice staff. Having breakfast on the top floor terrace was pleasant. Easy free street parking. Grocery store and post office nearby.

The bathroom needs renovation. It’s not pleasant to walk into town due to uneven sidewalks and heavy traffic.

Very spacious room, comfortable bed, a really big bathroom plus a nice small balcony. Has air conditioning.

A water cooker in the room would be a plus (to make tea or coffee) since using the kitchen outside the breakfast hours is not allowed. The breakfast could be more diversified since in 8/9 days we stayed there were always the same options with bread+spreads+salmi&cheese. Also the place itself does not have a private parking but rather all the streets around have free of charge parking space. Keep in mind that it means that the car is not surveilled and can be damaged by cars that park behind or in front of yours.

With a large balcony. Air conditioner works good!(even with noises)

In the evening there are obvious noise, from air conditioning, fridge and outside dog barking. And the light from the street can enter in the bedroom from the window of bathroom(there is only frosted glass door), which is kind of bright and annoying. Breakfast can be better.

Walking distance to center and to beaches, room was clean and comfortable, good breakfast in a nice terrace

We just didn’t like that the ac was facing the bed, so the wind went directly on us

I liked the room, it was big and it had nice facilities like a small fridge. The shower was a bit cold and it was a bit noisy in the room, other than that it was great! Good value for your money.
