When I booked in advance, I told the boss that I would arrive at 10pm, and the boss accepted the order. When I arrived, there was no one in the entire hostel. There was no hot water in the public bathroom and no hair dryer. The public kitchen did not have the cooking tools shown in the pictures. No one responded to my WhatsApp messages. The air conditioner was turned off when I was sleeping the next morning, and I woke up from the heat. When I checked out, I was told that the air conditioner could not be turned on from 10am to 6pm. When I communicated with the boss for compensation, she kept blaming me for not calling her in the middle of the night. In the end, she even asked the employees to pay compensation!!!

This hostel was incredibly peaceful, clean and I had the best nights sleep since being in Thailand. The room was blackout and cool which meant I was able to catch up on sleep. The mattress was comfy. The bed had a clean towel and bedding with large lockable storage at the foot of the pod. There were two sockets and a fold down small table in the sleeping pod too. The view from the balcony was incredible, mountains and beach with friendly but quiet communal area. The location is great, next to the beach and a short walk to a 7-eleven. Plenty of clean sinks, toilets and showers. I also arrived late, there was good communication back and forth, and the concierge was able to escort me up to the top. The breakfast was limiting but enough to be satisfied. Friendly staff. The other guests were considerate and clean/tidy. Washing machine downstairs too.

Staff - very nice, I checked-in late night after the front desk closed, they gave me a well prepared how to get-in and they were able to contact even they were off from their shift. Excellent location, 2 mins walking to the beach, has nearby 7-11. Parking lot available if driving. Some street food available at night. Very nice view, able to see almost 360° both of the sea side and mountain side and it was windy all day as they are on the 17th floor of the building. For this view, this price is worth to pay. Actually very cheap comparing to another hostel I have been to.

The door to the room that I was assigned was very hard to open. When closing, I had to pull/push so hard to close otherwise it will be beeping which is annoying another guest who stayed in the same room especially while there’re sleeping.

Really beautiful hostel on the top floor of the highest hotel in the city. Incredible views. Still dont understand why it is always so empty. Was here 2018 when it was new. I dont think many people come here which is sad. One of the nicest hostels I have stayed in. Clean big bathrooms, comfortable beds, nicely newly furnished and the view from the top floor is just insane. Incredible value for the money. And you can even use the swimming pool of the hotel.

There is nothing not to like about this property.

I've stayed at plenty of great hostels but I've never seen anything quite like this. This deserves a 10/10 rating. It's literally a penthouse on the 17th floor right next to the beach, everything is brand new and the common areas (terrace, living room, co-working space, kids area, dining room) are spacious and cozy. You can do some light cooking (fridge, microwave, cooking plate) and do your laundry on the ground floor for TBH 40. There's also a swimming pool. The staff are kind and helpful and keep everything super tidy. You can rent a scooter directly from the hostel for just TBH 250. The bunk beds are comfortable and very private. The hostel is by no means crowded (I had the female dorm mostly to myself during my week-long stay) so the vibe is extremely chill and peaceful. There's plenty of 7-11s, street food, and restaurants along the beach strip. If you don't mind walking, it's only 30 minutes on foot to the minivan stations on the main road. Navigation will likely lead you to the Asia Hotel next door, but the staff there are really nice and will take you to where you need to go (or just walk a bit further and go up the next alley after you pass the 7/11). A bit far from the train station if you have luggage, but you can get a Grab for cheap.

Great location, good facilities, just a fun place, and staff, we stayed in a family room and not a dorm room- so I can only speak to that. To be fair in the review, my wife loved the extra, extra, extra firm mattress. Below, in the 'what didn't you like'- I will make my comments

I thought the mattress, in the family room was way to firm, I crashed on the couch and it was good. It's all good though, I would still stay there again, but maybe next time- just use the dorm rooms.

Beds are very comfortable and the hosts very friendly. There is a kitchen and fridge, you can prepare and store your food. There is a view is amazing and there is a huge amount of space to sit and enjoy yourself. There is a pool, but located on the second floor and was always in shade. The pool picture on booking is the pool of the hotel next door.

The bathroom had flooding problem. Only 2 showers had a drain, the others made the whole bathroom floor wet and very slippery.

Especially the staff from the reception has been absolutely incredible. Super friendly, helpful and lovely. She helped us get transport to the airport amongst other things and really made our stay easy and comfortable. We stayed in a condo and it was super clean and comfortable. Great value for money

Good value for money so nothing to add here

The location is amazing with the parking space, only 3 mins to the beach. The panoramic view on the 17th floor is also worth visiting. The hotel room is big and comfy with big bathroom. Worth the price!

The fridge wasn’t working on my stay and the TV is not really in a good condition. One recommendation is the hand rail in the deck (the curved one) is quite fragile, I was afraid it’s broken and drop down to people below.

I would definitely recommend this place as a hostel: great view, reasonable prices, much space.

In double room the windows are very small, fully made of wood and are always closed because there are many lizards outside. Too dark inside. Next time I would take just a bunk bed.
