Sophia is always there and attentive and helpful. The place is about a hundred yards from the harbour and centre and restaurants. You have a sea view which is great. Aegiali is a great little town - pretty small but well served with a couple of decent, well-priced restaurants; some with tremendous views across the sea where you can watch the sun setting behind Naxos in the distance.

Less of a criticism than an advisory - it's up a short steep hill from the town so if you're an overweight asthmatic like me it can leave you rather breathless getting there especially when it's really hot. My one complaint is that my room opened to a shared terrace - I'd have preferred more privacy for reading in the sun - and what you get is a lot of ignorant people squeezing past to exit by a gate at the end of the terrace. There's no reason for this as you can walk an extra ten feet and enter the building by the main entrance rather that brushing and squeezing past people who are trying to relax. Sophia, please simply lock that gate - there is no need for people to go that way.

One of the warmest, most relaxed and generous hosts we encountered on our trip. We rented a car through them and were allowed to keep it well beyond the standard 24 hours, which gave us flexibility. The room was spacious, with both a double and single bed, and had a lovely view from the balcony. Great value, easygoing atmosphere, and a wonderful base for exploring wild and rugged Amorgos… which also has our favourite beach (Agia Anna) Highly recommend.

The location was brilliant ,within 5 minutes walking distance to the nearest beach and shops/tavernas. Plenty of places to eat. Sophia the owner was extremely helpful, even though the property is a short distance from the port,it is uphill, she picked us up from the ferry and took us back down again when we left. She advised us where everything was and where to go. Great help thank you and to her sons for carrying our cases

Although the bathroom was well lit and spotlessly clean,it was a wet room and as there was no shower screen and it was small when we showered everything got wet including the toilet roll. Not enough drawer space to put folded clothes in the bedroom

The hotel is perfect. It is located very conveniently both for "town" and the beach. The room was extremely comfortable, light and cheery together with a very good shower room / WC. The breakfasts are delicious and copious. The lady who runs the hotel is extremely friendly and welcoming without ever being intrusive. I recommend Pelagos very strongly.

Sadly the hotel might not be suitable for guests with a physical disability.

Pelagos is the best possible home away from home while in Amorgos! Sofias and her team guarantee a great stay for their guests - the nicest people whom you can trust to make your time on the island unforgettable. The room had a great view over the sea, and was super clean and up to date. Next time I'll be in Amorgos, I need not to ponder over where to book - Pelagos should be everyone's first choice of accommodation!

It is 2 stars but believe me it comes with a nice breakfast and if your lucky the owner makes it for you, thats really cute, its a nice old style hotel but some rooms have a really nice bathrooms and are very comfy, they are working on the hotel, and their intentions are showing, excellent price for what they offer and location and their kindness.

I didnt expect their is a smoking section in the hotel, but thats ok I closed the windows

Location is superb! Our room had a balcony with a spectacular view of the sea! The staff were so kind and accommodating. We were within a stone’s throw to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend getting breakfast here because it is very filling and nutritious- we needed these great breakfasts for the amazing hikes! Beach towels and beach mats were readily available for use at no charge.

Nothing to dislike. We had a great room - top floor sea view. Modern bathroom - well stocked with toiletries and topped up. Clean towels - loved the touches of a face cloth - cotton buds and pantyhose liners!! Wonderfully thoughtful. Great staff - Sofia was so lovely - always laughing - or smiling - really helpful - fab breakfast and I think too cheap!

The room we stayed was spacious, in a very good condition, regularly cleaned and with a beautiful sea view. The hotel staff was very helpful and polite. The location is premium as it’s about 5-10 minutes walk to the beautiful beach of Aegiali, while the port from where several ferries depart was even closer.

The bed was a bit squeaky but everything else was excellent.

Very clean and very nice room with a sunset seaview. The hotel is run by a very nice and very helpful family. Sophia met us in the port when we arrived and took our luggage in the car. They have a lot of stuff like umbrellas and beach towels for loan. We rented a car at a very good price as well from the hotel.
