The people are wonderful, the facilities are gorgeous, the location superb. The garden is a quiet oasis, each of the restaurants is excellent, as is the breakfast. I truly wish that the Leela Palace could be my go-to hotel in Bengaluru.

The problem is that the hotel sprays a lot of "air freshener" in the guest rooms. They are quite responsive to requests to not do so, but the room is so heavily scented that even after six days of leaving the doors to the (gorgeous) balcony open, the scent cloys to everything in the room.

The Leela Palace Bangalore is undeniably beautiful, with its grand aesthetics and luxurious ambience. It is in a very good location with a beautiful lush green garden within the property. Very calm and peaceful inside and totally away from the hustle bustle of the Bengaluru city. The hotel is impressive and the welcome by the staff was very nice. Staff were very supportive and helpful. We felt very welcome. Check-in was smooth and easy. We went there for a short staycation and to celebrate our anniversary and babymoon. The Leela Palace left no stone unturned to make this day very very special for us. They beautifully decorated the room with balloons and a mouthwatering cake. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained. The guest services were effective and responded promptly to the requests. We had our dinner at Jamavar. The food was delicious, and the service was very good and quick. There was live music and even a Kathak kali dance performance in the evening for the guests in the restaurant. Overall, it was a good experience.

The breakfast variety and quality is very average. I have had better breakfast spread and quality in other luxury hotels.

The Leela Palace is a beautiful luxurious hotel that transports you into an almost ethereal experience with its blend of amazing hospitality, old world charm (and traditions) and bounty of amenities. I travelled with my teenaged kids, who were both in awe during their stay there. The rooms are spacious and well equipped - even with an extra bed that they provided us. The food is divine - don't miss their sumptuous breakfast - those dosas are the best I've eaten in India! The hospitality can't be matched anywhere else - there was even a butler who introduced himself to us when we checked in, and helped address any additional requirements we had. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony overlooking the gulmohar trees with the parrots. The location was perfect for us, as we wanted to spend our time in Indiranagar (right around the corner). We absolutely loved our stay here. Don't think twice - stay here and experience what it feels like to be treated like royalty.

Nothing - everything exceeded our expectations!

The staff was amazing throughout my stay, the restaurant service was slightly slow but the food was delicious. The bar drinks & food were super expensive but worth it if you are only doing it as a one off. The facilities everywhere were amazing, this was the cleanest hotel I had stayed at during my India travels. The variety at breakfast was endless which was great, I just wish I could eat more! The Toiletries they provide you with in the room & at the spa were luxurious, I brought some back! Overall, I was super happy at this hotel & would love to return. The view from my room was incredible, I watched the fireworks at night from my balcony & had a bird eye view of the pool.

The jacuzzi tub in the spa however could do with a clean because it was gritty under the water. The entrance has a tiny little step near the red carpet, if you miss it you could trip it (it's not low enough to not miss & not high enough to step, hence you trip & flip, I had a horrible fall as a result sadly). The staff looked after me after my fall at the entrance.

What Went Right: The property offers excellent value for money with standout features such as friendly and helpful staff, a convenient location, and superb facilities. These aspects significantly enhanced the overall experience and provided a solid foundation for an enjoyable stay.

What Can Be Improved: Unfortunately, the breakfast service on January 1st fell short of expectations. It appeared that the staff was either overwhelmed by the volume of guests or unprepared to manage such a crowd. Despite their best efforts on the ground, the situation could have been better handled with an accountable person or team guiding both staff and guests during the rush. Specific issues included: Cold food and empty stations, leaving guests with limited options. A long queue for plates, adding to the frustration. These factors left some guests starting the new year on a somewhat sour note. Improved planning and coordination for peak times would greatly enhance the guest experience in the future.

We got to know the staff at breakfast time - the waiters and the chefs stopped at nothing to help us have a spectacular experience, the food was made on the spot for us, encouraging us trying new Indian meals. Our room was huge, the bathroom included a bathtub, the balcony looked over the gardens towards the pool (room 631) on the top (6th) floor, facing the sunrise. The architecture is a sight to behold, the flowers were changed so frequently we looked forward to seeing what designs would be next. It was my birthday during the stay (5 days) and everyone knew about it, everyone from housekeeping to breakfast staff, to the concierge, front desk and guest relations all wishing me a grand birthday and celebrating with me, it was so genuine. We had dinner at the Citrus Grilled buffet, Zen and the Jamavar Indian and all were delicious in their own right. We had much indian food for breakfasts which was such a fabulous offering rather than the usual western fare (there was that as well if your desired). There is a yoga studio next to the pool which was fun to do some online exercise/aerobics in (mats, towels, water there ready to be used). It was such a fun week, the staff truly made it memorable and rich with connection!

I'd add a mechanism to clean and disinfect the bottom of our shoes after being out in the city!

The Leela Palace Hotel is the kind of place where, as you leave, you begin to plan your return. It is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The architecture, the atmosphere, the meals, the staff...everything worked together to provide an exquisite experience. They had a lovely ceremony to begin the evening. It set the tone of our visit: dignified, inclusive, beautiful. Our host, Riti, helped us with every question we had, and provided a lovely welcome gift for us. Honestly we didn't know a place like this existed.

Anyone who is dissatisfied at the Leela Palace Hotel is the type of person who would complain about their neighbors in heaven.

Exceptional property..royally appointed and elegant. We were checking in - a day later and were leaving late evening on the same day - so in a way, a very short sojourn. I emailed the property regarding my circumstances and requested a late checkout. A special word of thanks to Sakina Kherodawala for her help and a thorough professional handling of this situation. She arranged a late check out and constantly updated us regarding the situation. She ensured that we made the best of whatever little time we had in the property. Magnificient hotel in the heart of Bangalore with signature restaurants to boast of. Comfortable and good-sized rooms with the facilities you would expect from a top-rated 5-star hotel.

The horizontal layout with only one elevator in one corner means you could have really long walks between the lobby and your room. I experienced some issues with leakages in the bathroom, which caused me inconvenience, but that's probably specific to my room and may not be a reflection on the upkeep of the hotel overall.

Really outstanding hotel, the palace itself is a museum and I felt treated like a princess, the staff is so lovely. Really everyone I met was heartwarming!!! You are welcomed with a flower necklace. I also got roses at the poolside, so nice. The lightning ceremony at 6:30pm is wonderful. And the music! I really much enjoyed Merlin playing the piano. The rooms are like wellbeing temples itself, ask for good view, I was a bit unlucky. i liked the small treats at the room and also the most comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet is just magnificent, it offers all you can wish for. The pool area is also very beautiful, especially Noel and his team made me feel welcome and like at home at the poolside. Noel even guided me to the spa, when I was cold after a little rain. A big thanks again to all staff, each and every one I met, at the entrance, reception, with luggage, in the restaurant, at the spa, on the way to the room, was exceptional friendly and it felt just perfect! Very special hotel! Worth the money, also for solo female backpackers

I booked a premier category room/ got a upgrade on booking which was not really reflected, the room view was terrible and no balcony.
