Among all the Marriott properties I’ve stayed at, the Renaissance Hotel stands out for having the highest standard of service. The moment you step into the lobby and approach the reception, you are greeted with such warmth and attentiveness that it immediately sets the tone for your stay. What touches me the most are the thoughtful details waiting in the room—the perfectly arranged fruits and chocolates, and the heartfelt words on the handwritten card. These small gestures reflect a level of care that goes far beyond standard hospitality. Among the incredible team, Harshita has left the deepest impression on me. No matter the situation, she pays the utmost attention to every detail and treats each guest with genuine kindness and compassion. Her service is not just professional—it carries a rare sincerity that makes you feel seen, valued, and at peace. As long as Harshita is here, I know I will keep returning to this hotel again and again.

Mrs.Varthika was my welcoming staff , she was very judgmental and rude in the begining of the stay ...the sad part is she is just a staff and nothing more , but she made us feel we are inferior to stay in leela (which I have never felt in other leela stays e/w or ITC /Never in the TAJ...I did complain about this to yogesh , he was kind enough to take matters into hand , atleast he acknowledged the situation and diluted it. I did love the stay after that as everyone was kind. but sadly the start was quiet disturbing when a worker just judges u just with looks .

The Leela Palace became my sanctuary in the city, and what an extraordinary experience it was. From start to finish, the service embodied the essence of Atithi Devo Bhava—the Indian philosophy that “the guest is God.” Every detail, every interaction, carried a level of reverence and warmth that made me feel not just welcomed, but truly honored. The staff’s attention to detail, grace, and hospitality were simply world-class. The property itself is a masterpiece—lush, regal, and impeccably maintained—but what makes it unforgettable is the heart behind the service. Whether it was the serene breakfast in the courtyard, the floral welcome at check-in, or the gentle attentiveness of every team member, The Leela Palace offers more than luxury—it offers a soul. The spa and health club downstairs is very nice but a couple times the steam room was not set up proper

The location was very convenient, close to Indiranagar as well as the business districts of Outer Ring Road. The property is beautiful and regal, maintained well, the rooms were spacious and well equipped too. Breakfast spread was nice too!

Operationally, the hotel has things to improve upon. Staff were friendly but not always efficient. Level and quality of service seems young, with unexplained waiting times on many occasions - be it checkin, or in room dining, or other guest services. It wasn’t bad, but not value for money.

The people are wonderful, the facilities are gorgeous, the location superb. The garden is a quiet oasis, each of the restaurants is excellent, as is the breakfast. I truly wish that the Leela Palace could be my go-to hotel in Bengaluru.

The problem is that the hotel sprays a lot of "air freshener" in the guest rooms. They are quite responsive to requests to not do so, but the room is so heavily scented that even after six days of leaving the doors to the (gorgeous) balcony open, the scent cloys to everything in the room.

The Leela Palace Bangalore is undeniably beautiful, with its grand aesthetics and luxurious ambience. It is in a very good location with a beautiful lush green garden within the property. Very calm and peaceful inside and totally away from the hustle bustle of the Bengaluru city. The hotel is impressive and the welcome by the staff was very nice. Staff were very supportive and helpful. We felt very welcome. Check-in was smooth and easy. We went there for a short staycation and to celebrate our anniversary and babymoon. The Leela Palace left no stone unturned to make this day very very special for us. They beautifully decorated the room with balloons and a mouthwatering cake. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained. The guest services were effective and responded promptly to the requests. We had our dinner at Jamavar. The food was delicious, and the service was very good and quick. There was live music and even a Kathak kali dance performance in the evening for the guests in the restaurant. Overall, it was a good experience.

The breakfast variety and quality is very average. I have had better breakfast spread and quality in other luxury hotels.

The staff was amazing throughout my stay, the restaurant service was slightly slow but the food was delicious. The bar drinks & food were super expensive but worth it if you are only doing it as a one off. The facilities everywhere were amazing, this was the cleanest hotel I had stayed at during my India travels. The variety at breakfast was endless which was great, I just wish I could eat more! The Toiletries they provide you with in the room & at the spa were luxurious, I brought some back! Overall, I was super happy at this hotel & would love to return. The view from my room was incredible, I watched the fireworks at night from my balcony & had a bird eye view of the pool.

The jacuzzi tub in the spa however could do with a clean because it was gritty under the water. The entrance has a tiny little step near the red carpet, if you miss it you could trip it (it's not low enough to not miss & not high enough to step, hence you trip & flip, I had a horrible fall as a result sadly). The staff looked after me after my fall at the entrance.

The Leela Palace is a beautiful luxurious hotel that transports you into an almost ethereal experience with its blend of amazing hospitality, old world charm (and traditions) and bounty of amenities. I travelled with my teenaged kids, who were both in awe during their stay there. The rooms are spacious and well equipped - even with an extra bed that they provided us. The food is divine - don't miss their sumptuous breakfast - those dosas are the best I've eaten in India! The hospitality can't be matched anywhere else - there was even a butler who introduced himself to us when we checked in, and helped address any additional requirements we had. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony overlooking the gulmohar trees with the parrots. The location was perfect for us, as we wanted to spend our time in Indiranagar (right around the corner). We absolutely loved our stay here. Don't think twice - stay here and experience what it feels like to be treated like royalty.

What Went Right: The property offers excellent value for money with standout features such as friendly and helpful staff, a convenient location, and superb facilities. These aspects significantly enhanced the overall experience and provided a solid foundation for an enjoyable stay.

What Can Be Improved: Unfortunately, the breakfast service on January 1st fell short of expectations. It appeared that the staff was either overwhelmed by the volume of guests or unprepared to manage such a crowd. Despite their best efforts on the ground, the situation could have been better handled with an accountable person or team guiding both staff and guests during the rush. Specific issues included: Cold food and empty stations, leaving guests with limited options. A long queue for plates, adding to the frustration. These factors left some guests starting the new year on a somewhat sour note. Improved planning and coordination for peak times would greatly enhance the guest experience in the future.
