There was excellent communications prior to our arrival and pure joy on arrival with meeting Rosanna our host. She goes out of her way to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible and so shares lots of information and tips. Should you not appreciate the lengths this amazing lady goes to or instantly fall in love with her then you have no soul and would be better off at a sterile Travelodge. She helpfully provides discounted parking tickets at 4 Euros and if you mix them up with your original ticket it is your own fault not hers. We had no problem exiting the multi story car park for the reduced fee with the ticket from Rosanna and did not need to use our own.

It was a good location near an excellent bakery on the Piazza Picandello and a good selection of local restaurants. Also a short walk to the Santa Maria dei Greci church. The room was a good size with a mini balcony, and the bathroom had a nice shower with a large rain shower head. But most of all was the wonderful woman who provided an excellent Sicilian breakfast and good espresso (had cafe americano too if you preferred) and who provided a lot of information to help plan my 2 days in the area, and treated me like family. This is the only place I would stay if I come back.

Rosanna was an amazingly charming host. She truly made us feel welcome in her house, prepared an amazing breakfast for us and gave us valuable recommendations for food around Agrigento. She doesn’t speak English, but working with Google Translate worked fine for us. The room itself was very nicely decorated with a nice mix of modern and rural charm, a comfy bed and a nice bathroom.

Not a negative, just heads up: you will need to be able to carry your luggage up an inclined cobble stone street and up a narrow flight of stairs in the building. If you’re handicapped, it might not be the best selection for you.

The apartment is lovely: mellow stone exposed in the rooms and smooth, rustic tiles underfoot; comfy beds; well-appointed bathrooms; great breakfast. Right around the corner from parking, tucked away on the edge of the attractive old centre (ignore the way the modern buildings look, the old town is charming). Good base to visit the Valley of the Temples but take time to explore the old town to the cathedral is well worth visiting. Rosanna is a fantastic host: kind; helpful; and genuinely interested - nothing is too much trouble. I’ve not encountered better anywhere.

Absolutely nothing. One word of warning: the apartment is not suitable for people with mobility issues - it is uphill and the stairs inside are steep.

Room was really clean, the apartment is in a great location. Breakfast made by Rosanne was really delicious and enough to stay full until lunch. She was super kind and really helpful for giving us all the info we need to know to get the max out of our stay. She was really like our grandmother, helping us out. She booked us discounted parking tickets for 4euro per day in the multi-story car park nearby the apartment. She also gave us water each day to keep us hydrated.

It was a bit hard to understand each other at the beginning since we communicated with the help of google translator to translate English to Italian, but if you stay patient you will understand everything.

Rosanna is the best host anyone could ask for. Her advanced Google Translate skills make up for any lack of English knowledge. She's local, knowledgeable about the sights and the restaurants / bars too. She makes a killer breakfast and keeps a clean and welcoming place. She's a gem who's been one of the highlights of our whole trip.

The old town area is not very clean in Agrigento, so if you start walking the wrong way you can end up in some dirty streets. Entirely not the apartments' fault. Parking is subsidized only during the night so unless you want to pay market rate for the parking she can make some room next to the apartment to park temporarily. She's really amazing.

Rosanna is the most wonderfull lady you can find in Agrigento. From the first minute she made us feel welcome and gave us advice about what to see and where to eat in the area. Communication goes vij google translate, but that does not matter, it works reallu well. She does also speak french and spanish. The Sicilian breakfast she made for us was wonderfull and we were sad we only booked there one night. The room was very nice and the beds comfortable.

The Aljama B&B is great value for money. The bedroom was very confortable and cozy, overlooking a nice piazza in Agrigento. The bathroom is also modern, well equipped (with all kind of amenities) and confortable. Despite being very close to the town centre, it was very quiet at night and we slept like babies. Apart from the facilities, Rosanna the owner is just great! So nice and helpful! My partner had hurt himself in a knee and she was most caring. She gave us very good recommendations on what to visit, where to eat, etc. Breakfast was also great and homemade. It is also worth mentioning that she pointed us to a multistorey parking nearby, very convenient if you travel by car; she has an agreement with the parking so we only had to pay 4€ for the 16 hours or so we had the car in there.

This was a lovely place to stay in. Very close walking to the sights including cathedral and opera house. As well as a couple of great bars, restaurant and bakery shop around the corner. 3km from the Valley of the Temples, Room has been renovated with a little balcony off of it and lots of nice touches. Even a curling iron. Nice and bright. Highlight was meeting our host Rosanna. She was amazing with so much energy, humour and always helpful. Her breakfast was all fresh- squeezed orange juice, delicious cut up fruit, scrambled eggs, bruschetta. A bit tricky to find if driving and using GPS. We just parked and used google maps walking and found it easily when we were about 300 metres away. Parking good too. Rosanna can also be contacted on WhatsApp and she is also very proficient with Google Translate.

Rosanna was the perfect host, who made us feel so welcome with the helpful assistance of google translate. She cooked and served us scrambled eggs, bruschetta, fruit platter and baked treats for breakfast each morning; offered us many local recommendations and reduced secure car parking tickets (only 200m away). This airbnb is an amazing location, at the beginning of the pedestrian zone in the historical part of town. There are only 2 sets of stairs to lug your luggage up, which was completely fine for us, but something to be aware of.
