The staff were helpful - amongst other things, I was given recommendations for restaurants and the one I chose was excellent. The room was large and comfortable and the breakfast good. The location in the very centre of town, next to the pedestrian area is exceptional.

The underground car park is extremely useful as parking is a great problem in Kempten. However, cars are much wider than they were when it was established and I struggled to fit into the last place available. Then a kind guest told me that the hotel owns two levels for parking - the second level was empty!

Clean room, nice location, there were many shops around to visit and the room was big. The lady we found on the reception was a little wooden but the gentlemen were very friendly and helpful and we thank them for that hospitality. Breakfast also was very good. Sufficient variety and beautiful warm place to have your breakfast. In the reception they offer also coffee for a very reasonable price which was better than every coffeehouse in the area. In general I recommend it and for sure I am going to stay there if I visit again this town in the future.

One of the matresses was a little bended and stiff. The other one was ok for me.

The staff was welcoming and quick to solve problems. The rooms were big and everything was clean. We had an issue with heating, but it was readily solved. The hotel is as good as always. It's easy to reach because it's in a central position. We really liked our stay here.

Just some minor inconveniences... The room upstairs didn't have a wardrobe and we couldn't open the windows to change the air. The water jet of the shower head was really weak.

The breakfast was exceptional, you could not ask for anything more. The location was good, easy walking through the town and many restaurants around.

No coffee/tea facilities in the room. Would have been nice to make a cuppa at times. There was a machine down stairs which you had to pay for. I found the bed a little worn.

Imagine a Hollywood style Bavarian hotel, this is it! Located in a old square in the middle of the town it stands as an imposing building from the outside and once in the reception/ lobby you are surrounded by old wood and history. The room I was given was on the second floor, accessed via a lift and overlooking a quiet pedestrian only street. The bedroom was big enough for a longer stay with an old fashioned (it had a bath) perfectly clean and functional bathroom. I am sure the bed was comfortable as I slept like a log and awoke refreshed with no aches or pains from my previous days journey. Parking in the hotel 's garage was offered but I chose one of the many parking bays available to the side and back of the hotel. Breakfast was typically continental fare with a wide selection of pastries, breads, meats and cheeses with a hot selection of sausages and eggs. I was very happy to find 'pots' of tea available. Local facilities were limited due to my arrival on a public holiday but I found friendly bars and a good restaurant within five minutes walk on quiet streets and well pedestrianised areas. I will definitely stay here again when passing through Bavaria.

Staffs are friendly and helpful. On the day that I have to check out before 6am, I paid before the day I check-out, I asked about the breakfast room open hour, and they told can arranged the “breakfast” box for me at 6am for pickup before I leave hotel. It’s really helpful for me and appreciate the consideration.

Located in the centre of town, next to many cafes and restaurants. There are places to park for free in the back, that the kind person at reception showed to us, and if they are full, you can park in the garage. Rooms are quite simple but fine, although a bit dated, probably needs a renovation to keep it up. Breakfast was great

Location was great in the middle of town. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Stayed there a couple of times and would happily go back. Good value for money.

It’s a an old building and some things are a bit dated. Everything was clean though and exactly as in the photos.

Authentic place, really nice and spacious room. After a long drive it was heaven for our two small kids to play, crawl and run around. The floor although not new, were very clean. Enough for a parent not to worry over his 1 year old crawling on the floor. Shower clean, with a new shower head.

There were some stains in the curtains, that was the only remark.

It's a lovely classical german hotel. You may feel history of hotel hospitality when staying there. Also, it has fully closed parking garage, that we needed.

It's an old hotel, so it has this particular smell of olden days in the room, though it's not major for one night.
