The accommodation itself is fantastic, with the pool access villas finished to a high standard. It was incredibly quiet when we visited (start of May), which we didn’t mind as it often meant you had the pool to yourself - although there was little atmosphere. All of the staff are incredibly friendly, especially Moo at the pool bar.

The location is a little far out from civilisation, about a 20 min drive to Ao Nang - however, there is a shuttle by the hotel a few times a day and you can order a Grab/Bolt without issue. The hotel do take advantage of there being no shops etc within walking distance, charging 140 baht for a can of beer / 100 baht for a soft drink etc. would recommend stocking up at 711 on beers/snacks/soft drinks to avoid paying over the odds. The main issue we had was that the hotel adds on 10% service charge to all food/drink, which wouldn’t be an issue - however, this charge goes to the hotel and not the staff. If that is the case, why not increase the prices of items by 10%? It’s misleading and will reduce people’s willingness to tip the staff who are all incredibly friendly and work so hard.

In one of the reviews, someone said it was a 5-star hotel at 4-star rates and I want to echo that statement. It's a very nice property with very nice staff and well-maintained grounds and amenities. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is nicely laid out across the length of the room. The mattress and bedding are comfortable and crisp, the water pressure is pleasant, and the AC works well and smells neutral. The adult pool is clean and cool, with a nice view of the "private beach".

The breakfast can definitely be improved, since we also tried the same restaurant for lunch and dinner. The breakfast options are limited and don't change, so it gets boring after the first day. The pool bar doesn't serve food or ice-cream (they said they had to bring it from upstairs and it takes more time) The location is a little out of the way and so you'll need to take a taxi into town (use grab, it's cheaper than hotel taxi). This can be either a good thing or a bad thing depending on the type of traveller you are. P.s. the hotel has a daily shuttle bus at 4 different times throughout the day.

The pool is the warmest pool I’ve ever been in. The hotel has a beach but you have to go quite far out to swim as it’s shallow. The hotel is a little out of the way, it’s maybe a 10 minute taxi ride to Ao Nang but it’s a very quiet area, so if you’re looking for seclusion this place is for you.

The hotel runs a shuttle to the nearby town but it’s very infrequent. They could do with having more shuttle times. You can request for the hotel to take you to the town but they charge 500 baht. The food menu at the hotel was limited and quite expensive but good quality.

The resort was amazing, two amazing pools with an amazing view, nice bars and nice restaurants. The breakfast was also pretty good. The room was amazing. Great experience

It was a bit a shame that the private beach wasn't really great to go swimming, not amazing sand and a lot of crabs everywhere. Didn't saw nobody using the beach once.

The staff is the top here, everyone so friendly and ready to assist for anything you may need. Breakfast offerings is one of the best I have experienced across the 5 hotels we stayed in all over thailand. The coffee is notably phenomenal. The location is quietly tucked away so its very peaceful and quiet, but easily convenient to the downtown area of Ao Nang beach and convenient to day trips to Railay beach. There is also a shuttle free from the hotel to get downtown instead of a taxi or difficult parking. Very convenient and allows for tons of additional cute restaurants and coffee shops as well as shopping if you forgot anything. Property is very clean, including the beachfront area and of course the pools which I really enjoyed and am usually not a pool person as I prefer the beach. The spa as well was very luxurious and modern and the staff gave excellent massages at a very competitive price. Will absolutely return! Cant wait to have another coffee!

Food quality was not good as per its fame.

We stayed here for four nights on our way from Bangkok to the islands. The accommodation is excellent with large rooms (we booked a garden room). At 45sq metres, this is more than adequate. The bathroom had side by side washbasins, a separate toilet and a spacious shower room with full size free standing bath. Housekeeping was excellent. Water was replaced daily and rooms made up each day. Shower gels etc replaced as required. The bed was huge (Queen) and offered us great sleep quality. We ate several meals at both the Azure and Fin Bars/Restaurants. The menu is the same at both. The quality of the dishes we selected was very good although we felt the range was small.

One of the most disappointing aspects of the hotels service was the quality of the cocktails. They were some of the worst and weakest cocktails we have ever had the displeasure of drinking, this is a major weakness and IMHO needs urgent rectification. At twice the cost of cocktails generally in Thailand, this is a big negative👎.
