Great pool and sea views. The beach in front is not for swimming but it’s beautiful and calm. Lovely to sit and watch/listen to the tide come in. The ferry to railey beach is a very short walk away if want. There are several local restaurants with great food and really good Thai massage. Also there are more beach cafes/restaurants 10/15 mins walk away where can swim and have great food too. I stayed in superior double room which was on the ground floor with a terrace. The room was spacious and clean. Drinking water and tea/coffee was provided in the room plus toiletries. Vs other beachfront hotels this is great value and as it is not in Ao nang itself it was a nice peaceful spot. The staff were all really friendly and stayed late for my late checkin at midnight! The resort is located in a quiet area, but close enough from Ao Nang (by tuk tuk 10 minutes) or Railay by long tail boat 7min walking to the pier. I recommend the cabanas. The pool was great overlooking the beach. Can’t swim at this beach unfortunately. They provide toilet paper and water every day as well as towels. You can have breakfast in their restaurant or just make yourself a coffee in your room. There are also a few local restaurants down the road really good. They don’t do laundry but you can do it across the road. They also sell boat tours at the reception. The ladies at the reception were very nice and friendly and very helpful, especially Noi she is very sweet. We loved our stay here!

Bungalows were basic but comfortable with everything we needed - tea coffee bottle of water provided each day. The bungalows were spacious. Linen changed. Fridge in the room. Had a nice balcony to sit outside. Pool was great and sufficient loungers available. Staff were very helpful and gave us plenty of information. Breakfast was great too when we had it with plenty of choices. There were some cafes and shops on the main road a 10 minute walk away.

We read plenty of the reviews and so didn’t have any surprises for our stay and made sure we talk precautions ie for mosquitoes etc. The beach isn’t great - mud flats but it is close to the ferry to Railay Beach which is nice. We were out very day so it didn’t matter. We did have difficulty with internet and it took several days of complaining for it to be sorted which was an inconvenience but understand it happens.

Staff were brilliant . Thankyou Sammi on reception for organising our onward journey via minivan and ferry onto Ko Lanta and then transport onto our hotel for half the price of online. For anyone travelling via ferry to Ko Lanta , if your ticket includes transport to your hotel make sure you are give a sticker as you check onto the ferry. There is a very pushy ,unfriendly guy on the ferry touting for a taxi firm . Don't succumb ! We weren't given the sticker so didn't have a clue which taxi to take ( you are bombarded as you get off the boat by firms competing for you ). Again Sammi quickly sorted it out and the agent for the taxi came and found us. Pool area was lovely overlooking the ocean and accomodation as described. You are just a short walk away from the pier and for 100 baht and a 10 minute longboat trip you can be Ralay beach. Breakfast was good value.

The Seaview villa was lovely, the first unit we had the air conditioning did not work, they moved us that same evening to one that worked fine. The little veranda out front is terrific, and the room was comfortable and well outfitted. It was very close to the pier where we caught our cruise, just a short walk, and there were many good restaurants in walking distance as well. The breakfast was excellent, and the Wi-Fi was decent. Definitely a good value for the money. We enjoyed the pool very much. However, the beach was not quite what we had hoped, but I think that is due to geography. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was excellent and friendly, both at the resort and the attached breakfast restaurant.

There was nothing we didn’t really like, the air conditioning issue was sorted out promptly, and I’m not sure what I can do about the beach. There are plenty of amazing beaches, a short distance away anyway.

Nice cabins, clean and close to the pool and rather grubby beach. Staff very helpful but the on site bar was not open until the last day our stay there nice quiet area surrounded by palms and other trees.Found one local bar the first night and called in most nights on the walk back. Couple of local supermarkets up on the main road a 15 minute walk away. Close to the pier for trips to islands or Railly beach.

It was a little isolated and the beach was not very clean. A fare bit of noise from the long tail boats which started very early and did not stop till midnight, quite long walk to the better bars and cafes, of the smaller local bars lots were not yet open. Still lots of rain about this early in the season to be expected.

the location is great, within walking distance to the pier to get to other places like Ralay. The staff is very friendly and welcoming; the bed is quite big and comfy: you can get from the reception food delivered. This resort has a private beach, a super clean swimming pool and good connection to the capital and airport. This area is so quiet, away from the crowd. I totally recommend it

Had a wonderful 8 day stay at diamond beach hotel, loved our sea view cabin nestled inside tropical gardens, easy to reach all areas. Staff really helpful and friendly assisted us with any requests from scooter hire to ferry transfers. Beach access in front of property not for swimming but we went swimming at all major beaches. Want to thank the staff for wonderful experience.

Diamond Beach Resort is located in Ao Nam Mao, so it is a little bit removed from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang Beach and Railay Beach. To us this was a bonus because the resort was peaceful and relaxing and those attractions were located near enough to easily visit. The ferry to Railay Beach is a short 5 minute walk away and Ao Nang Beach is about a 10 minute drive. We rented a motorbike for ~ 8 USD per day and easily went back and forth between destinations. The staff here is fabulous! Very kind and friendly, and always more than happy to assist with questions about sightseeing, finding restaurants and places to go, arranging transportation, etc. The little beach cottages are very cute and well equipped with air conditioning, showers, and a mini fridge. A beautiful oasis to return to cool off and relax.
