Close to autostrada and easy to find. Good for a one night stay. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good .

No aircon. Room was boiling hot for this time of the year. The pool was non existent. The road noise was annoying and the music and singing was very loud in the restaurant below till 12.30pm. We couldn’t close the windows because of the heat and no aircon.We weren’t informed when we booked in that we couldn’t book out till 9.30am. There were a number of people waiting to go and no receptionist. She was busy with breakfast.

Very picturesque historic villa, with a beautiful garden, which is actually an arboretum, and a great view of the Adriatic Sea. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is good, with a selection of some salami and cheese, bread, pastries and cakes... the room is ok, slightly antique, the bathroom is spacious. All in all nice and clean. We stopped there for one night, we also visited Ancona and a restaurant that was recommended by the hotel.

Fantastic building in a great location. The room was clean and comfortable and in keeping with the style of the building. A spacious shower room and good quality toiletries made us happy too. Our pets were made welcome and we had tasty breakfast choices in the pretty dining area. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We will return!

There was nothing I didn't like

Great views at the back of a property, a lovely garden and the views of a sea in the distance. The swimming pool was great in this heat, and plenty of spots, such as sunbeds, chairs or benches available to sunbathe or sit in the shade. It had a lovely, slightly historic feel to it which I adored. The staff was accommodating and friendly.

The location is in a small town if you don't drive, which makes it a bit more challenging to get around if you want to use only public transport, not a taxi. It is just a general observation and doesn't reflect in the rating of a hotel.

We had already stayed in this hotel the year before. The old villa is very beautiful with wonderful terracotta floors and high ceilings. The breakfast was good- classical Italian. Parking is possible on the premises.

The restaurant is closed when the season is over. So you have to drive down a mile to get some food or dine out.

The location is very beautiful on a hill with views of the sea and the beautiful gardens. The rooms are extremely spacious with tiled floors, high ceilings and 19th century shutters. The breakfast room, where a good Italian=sweet breakfast is served, is very elegant and offers beautiful views. The restaurant is supposed to be very good. Unluckily it is closed on Mondays so that we had to go to the associated restaurant 4 km down the hill. There we had an excellent fish dinner at a very reasonable price.

That the website said that the restaurant was open EVERY day. This was a reason why we booked the place because we didn’t want to drive after a long trip. But we were rewarded by the delicious dinner in “I’ll Capriccio”. So nothing to complain of!

I used it as transfer accmmodation during my way to Puglia, already second time. The horel is old building with good atmosphere, with nice garden and very pleasant staff. Will come back again.

Lovely, old-established gardens. Very good restaurant. Distant sea view. Fair bathroom. Historic building. Quiet. Nice walking nearby and unspoilt town.

Room cleaning, gardening and pool maintenance somewhat haphazard. Bedroom very small.

It was in e perfect location in Montemarciano, everything was clean & the food was delicious. The view is perfect & you can rest & enjoy peacfully everything that this place has to offer.

The house and property was distinctive. It was lovely to be able to walk up to the top of the town.

While the restaurant had great food and attentive service, there was a party of 30 unsupervised teenagers who were extraordinarily noisy and somewhat out of control. Their music was loud too, and they didn’t seem to care there were other patrons. This dampened the ambience of what would have been a wonderful first night in Italy.
