I needed a place to stay for the night. I booked at around 7pm, arriving at 8pm. I was travelling for 3 weeks with motorbike and tent. Armando met me on the street while I was looking for the house number. Armando was helpful. There is an elevator in the building, so it was easy to get all my luggage to the room. I slept well there. If I stay in Ancona again, I'll come to Armando's. All the best to Armando.

Very clean with great accomodations, and 2 bathrooms. Had a pleasant shower experience and the beds were clean and nice. Perfect to come home after the beach. It was close to the port but a bit further away to the beach, nevertheless it was really accessible by bus. Also close to the centre and the owner was nice to give us some tips where to go in Ancona

It was a bit far from the train station and the beach, but both were good accessible with the bus.

The location was a few minutes walk from the port and a half hour walk from the train station. The price was exceptionally good. The rooms were as advertised and clean. The host provided the option of a bath robe or large towel for walking to and from the shared bathroom - of which there were 2, so waiting while someone else used the bathroom was not a problem. Another reviewer complained about having to cook breakfast and clean up after. A guest can still do that, but the host provides a continental breakfast. There is also a dishwasher. The WiFi there is good.

Americans need to understand that unlike B&Bs in the US and other places we have stayed in Europe, there is no full time attendant. The host sends an email requesting what time you expect to arrive. If you get there early, there will be no one to let you in the building. You must call the host. If you do not have a European Sim card for your phone, there is no way for you to call him. Also, there is no sign outside that says you are at the facility. Now, this may be because of the construction. The building is multi-purpose. Go down the side alley to the door with the number 5 and that is the entrance. That entrance is locked, so you must wait for the host. The rooms are on the 3rd floor.

The location was conveniently close to the port. perfect place to stay if you need to catch a ferry. The staff and owner are extremely kind and helpful. He went out of his way to let me check in early because I was so tired from my overnight ferry. Extremely accommodating to my needs! Such a great experience. Thank you!

The only negative thing I could say is there is no air conditioning in the rooms. If it is not too hot outside, this place is perfect! There are fans in the rooms which is nice.

Great location, close to the pedestrian area with restaurants and cafes and port. Great view, very clean, has everything you'd need for a short stay. We were able to find parking (not free) easily in the main street next to the port, 5 minutes away from the apartment.

We were staying in the middle of August heat wave so air condition would be perfect. Fan made it better, but we really missed the AC during a very hot night.

The location is wonderful, only a block or two from the very centre of Ancona. It is a very easy walk to or from the port, I came in on the ferry from Patra and just walked over after it docked in the evening. It is maybe a mile or so walk to the main railway station, I did that when leaving Ancona but there are also busses and such. Shirley was super helpful when my ferry was delayed and I did not know whether I would need late checkin. 11 out of 10 for communication and helpfulness! The room was simple and clean and just what I wanted. The internet is fast wifi with good fibre behind it, astoundingly fast overall. Good enough for me to have stayed a while and done remote work. I am now wishing I had saved a screenshot of my internet speedtest to post here as a pic.

Location is excellent and the host is very nice and friendly.

During my stay, the noise from the renovation of the building next door was sometimes bearable only with earplugs. But I was prepared for it, just know they start renovations at 7:30am and end at 5pm. If you are away most of the day, you won't be affected by it.

Breakfast was very poor, very little and it is prepared the day before, you have to arrange everything yourself, if other guests eat a little more, there is almost nothing left. Better not offer it with breakfast. If it is bed and breakfast you expect someone to have coffee ready and enough for breakfast.

A bit tricky to find the entrance but the contact with owner was great, he came over to give keys and explained everything thoroughly. Great breakfast prepared a night before. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Additionaly there were towels and bathrob in the room. There's elevator in the building. View from the room just like on the pictures. There were also available brochures about the area and map with attractions.

Superb location within walking distance of major Ancona sights and restaurants, and a five-minute bus ride from the railway station. Very clean and tidy. Facilities to wash clothes. Extremely friendly proprietors (mother and son) who were welcoming and made it possible to collect baggage in the evening on the last day (not always the case in small B&B like this).

Breakfast was slightly limited (packaged croissants and cake). Key to my room had a habit of slipping through to the other side of the door; one had to be very careful to get it in the right place to unlock!
