The location, this charming pension is in a lovely old building only a few steps from the port and bus stop and close to everything else in Ermoupoli (including Asteria beach and Ano Syros). Liana and Panos are the most wonderful hosts and we were able to store bags after check out. The room we had (the rose room) was a decent size, very clean and homely with a lovely high ceiling making it cool enough to not have to use the air conditioning constantly and looked onto a quiet alley. It had a fridge, and tea and coffee making but Panos made us a fantastic morning coffee on the beautiful shared terrace overlooking the port. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again in this value for money pension.

The owners are fantastic and kind. The location is outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed the balcony across from our room on the second floor overlooking the harbor. The owner is an avid gardener and it shows. The water was hot and the bed comfortable. The ice cold fridge and hot water kettle were put to good use. I’m pretty sure we were the only ones there the first night. The reception desk isnt continually occupied and the owners pop in mid day to clean and do maintenance so it felt very private in the evenings. I would recommend this hotel for sure!

Some of the decor was a little old fashioned but that’s not a deal breaker for us because the value was outstanding.

The hotel-pansion had a wonderful picturesque aesthetic, a gorgeous balcony with a garden that overlooks the Aegean Sea which is accessible by all guests at any given time. The room we stayed in was very charming, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. The hosts were very friendly and willing to give us guidance at every step of our trip, what beaches to go to, where and what to eat, and they ensured our stay was as pleasant as possible.

The location is amazing. The rooms are by the port si you won’t need s taxi; you can just walk there. The view from the terrace is amazing. Even though it is centrally located, the area is very quiet and bars, restaurants, buses that take you to all the different beaches are within 5’ distance. The owners are very nice and polite, we felt very welcomed. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to stay in Ermoupoli.

It is in a very good location, within walking distance from the port, shopping and restaurants. The room is very spacious with a separate “wardrobe” room to put all your clothes and suitcases so they are not cluttering the bedroom. Our room also included our very own balcony on the rooftop that has a very nice view of the town. We only saw the host when we checked-in and when we checked out but we were able to ask her questions and recommendations for a good restaurant via whatsapp.

The blanket was too thick so it got a little hot under it at night but too cold not to have it on. It would have been nice to have a thinner blanket available as an option.

This quaintly decorated home provided all we needed for our short stay. The small fridge was ready with cold water, a few plates and cups helped with our hand-carried dinner, coffee and tea were also available. The room and bathroom were clean and quiet with everything we needed. The shared balcony had a beautiful view of the harbor. The location was ideally in the center close to everything.

Window screens would be a nice addition so that we have the option of fresh air. Otherwise, our stay was lovely.

Liana and her husband are amazing hosts! We arrived at 4am in the morning because of the ferry and she left the door open for us and waited until we reached. She offered us coffee in the morning and was happy to answer any questions. The property is beautiful and feels like a home. The rooms are decorated with a lot of detail and nothing is missing. It's like a small 5 star in the middle of the town centre. The view from the balcony is excellent and the pension is located 3 min walk from the ferry. Located in the middle of town, everything is accessible by foot. Lovely cafés, Rest and shops are at your door steps. Syros is full of stairs and reminds of an old town in Italy.

There is nothing to not like. Everything is working and just perfect.

The location is brilliant, steps from the port and lots of tavernas and cafes etc. View from roof terrace fabulous. Staff helpful and accommodating (allowing luggage to be left before check in etc). VERY well priced. Lots of character.

Its quite a quirky layout, took a while to work out where to get out onto the roof terrace. Also a little bit darker inside than the photos suggested

This is a unique and beautiful building in the heart of Syros harbour. The pictures do not do it justice - it has a lovely rooftop balcony and the rooms are spacious. The bathroom was functional and shower great. Lianna is a great host and the morning coffee is perfect (though you have it also in the room).

Whilst I had a harbour view room (it was the only one available when I booked) it came with the noise of being on a high street as the harbour is busy late into the night. I would suggest you get a room at the back. The mattress I found very hard with the springs quite prominent. Finally there was no map of Syros available on check in so I had to go and purchase one (most stays in Cyclades I’ve found they give you one and explain the few key landmarks).

Our stay was increadibly pleasant! 😄 We were in Syros for a wedding and were recommended another hotel but we were so glad we chose Locadiera! • Great location; on the coast, very close to port, bus and centre and not too high up • The kindest staff! Offered us information multiple times and were very accommodating (we asked for needle and thread and an iron and they brought it to our room immediately), they even brought us cookies one morning! • Amazing terras with seaview and comfortable seats where you can lounge and also get coffee etc • Very clean, with extras such as blow dryer, cotton pads, plates/cups/cutlery and more • Great room view and very spacious • Charming and with character

Minor mentions: ▪︎ the bed has a foot end, meaning if you are tall like my partner (1.95m) , you won't have enough space ▪︎ the shower has no curtain and is fairly small so you end up getting a big part of the bathroom wet. ▪︎ the hotel is conveniently located at the main road at the water. However, this also means the street gets noisy esp in the evening with a lot of scooters passing by. We chose to have the windows closed for this reason
