In the quiet part of Lignano (which is what we preferred), a but further from the beach (~20 mins by foot), but you can rent a bike for 5€ per day at hotel so it’s not such problem. The walk to the beach was actually very nice as the whole neighborhood was lovely. Parking space available next to the hotel and the breakfast was ok for few days (could be a problem for longer stay as they were basically all the same each day).

The rooms have AC, but without the remote, so you cannot really control the settings. Having the AC right above to door and aiming on the bed, it was not the ideal solution and we had to keep it off at night to not wake up sick. Windows open would not help as it was hot & there are no mosquito nets on the windows.

I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Hotel Alex in Lignano Pineta. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the owners and staff, who were always eager to help and provide recommendations. The accommodations were impeccably clean and maintained to a high standard, with daily cleaning services that ensured everything remained spotless throughout our stay. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible breakfast spread each morning. There was a vast array of delicious options to choose from, ensuring that everyone could find something they loved. Whether it was fresh fruits, pastries, or hot dishes, the variety and quality were impressive. Although the beach was a bit of a distance away, this wasn’t an issue at all. We easily reached the beach using the bicycles available for a small fee of 5 euros per day. This made the journey enjoyable and added a bit of adventure to our daily routine. This convenience added a special touch to our stay, allowing us to explore the area at our own pace. The serene environment and peaceful atmosphere made our holiday truly special. The pricing was very reasonable, offering great value for the exceptional service and amenities provided. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect getaway with my girlfriend. A tiny minus was that the WiFi didn’t work for a few days, but in the overall beauty of Lignano, the internet wasn’t that needed. Once it was fixed, the WiFi was really fast with a great range.

We were here before. It’s a nice hotel with good rooms, very nice people , a wonderful breakfast and a quiet location. On top of that it has a possibility to charge an EV at very pleasant rates. We like walking so this hotel, for us, is a perfect location to start a walk to the center of Lignano Sabbiadoro, have lunch and walk back again. There was a small defect in the bathroom and it was already fixed the next day. Wonderful. ;-)

We found this a very nice hotel. It was the first time we decided to not stay in Lignano Sabbiadoro but in Lignano Pineta. We selected this hotel because it had a parking and breakfast was included and also you can charge your electric car there (at a reasonable €10/day). The latter is nice to have. The bed was good and the breakfast was excellent. We had a room at the backside of the hotel and it was very quiet (apart from the visitors in the corridor who, at 23:00 hours, have no problem talking loudly and waking everybody up). The room was very clean and the cleaning lady very friendly.

Only one tip: there is a sign in the bathroom stating that the towels will be replaced when the guest put them in the washbasin. That’s fine with us. But then there is another sign on the backside of the room door, stating that the towels will be replaced every second day. So contradictory to the other sign. I would suggest to take that sign away.

Really enough parking space, nice stuff, good breakfasts and cleaning. Ideal for its price! Has good AC but also when it became cold weather it was warm enough inside. Should just fix the toilet seat (it’s loose a bit)

Everything was perfect – nice location and a very pleasant place. Rich breakfast with different options such as plant-based milk and fresh fruits. I fully recommend Hotel Alex

Clean room and good breakfast, nice terrace.

Quite far from the sea and centre, but quiet. Small room but enough for a short stay.

The hotel is really close to town and the beach, it was super clean and a good amount of space with a mini fridge. We came in winter and the place was a post apocalyptic ghost town which isn’t a bad thing, it was incredible. It was really cool that there was a hotel open and they serve breakfast too which unfortunately we missed because we slept in but because most places were closed for food that is super useful. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks a ton, Max and Chloe ^_^

The hotel has a nice private parking. You can also rent the bikes which are nice. The breakfast was really good, they had soy and rice milk. The room was very clean and cleaned every day. We really enjoyed our stay.
