Our room was spacious and clean. We loved the bar and pool area - always shade available and very pretty the owner and his son could not do enough for us during our stay - the breakfast was cooked to order - very fresh and very well presented every day. The value for money was fantastic. Supermarket just across the road and a good few local bars and restaurants in the area too!

Nothing really not to like about it - it exceeded our expectations and we know Kalkan is hilly and hotel is up a hill but not unmanageable to walk it’s not too steep around there at all.

Friendly family run hotel. Pretty bar area with pool. Home made gin selection. Excellent Turkish breakfasts provided by the host, Mehmet, and served by very friendly and attentive, David.. 20 minute walk to the old town downhill. Short and cheap taxi ride back up to the hotel from old town and harbour. Comfortable bed. Effective air-conditioning unit in room. I was helped up to and down from the room with my suitcase by the host's lovely son, Ishmael. I felt safe and well catered for.

Shower door was missing and hook fell off the wall. There wasn't a hairdryer in the room as listed but, as I didn't raise it with the host, he wasn't given the opportunity to rectify this. Overall, the room and furnishings were quite basic but it was reasonably priced.

Mehmet is the most gorgeous host! He cannot do enough for you! His breakfasts were amazing, definitely did not need to eat until the evening! Our room was basic but very clean and comfortable. The staff were all lovely. I liked the pool as it was deeper than normal swimming pools. As for the location, Kalkan is mainly on big hills! Papermoon is located at the top of a hill, great for walking to the town which is only about 10 minutes, but definitely would recommend getting a taxi back, only 100L less than £3. We loved this place so much we have booked to go again next year!

Papermoon was pretty, peaceful and perfect for our time in Kalkan. A wonderful family run hotel where we were made to feel so welcome by Mehmet and his family. The rooms and communal spaces were spotless. We stayed in a Triple room which was bright, airy and spacious. The home cooked breakfast was delicious which we were able to enjoy on the terrace. We would definitely stay here again should we return to beautiful Kalkan.

Papermoon is a small and friendly guesthouse. The staff were helpful and, because we stayed in the rooftop apartment we had an incredible view from the terrace. The breakfast was good and had enough variety each day to keep it interesting. The cocktails and bar menu was also great. The staff, especially the young lads that help out were fantastic.

Our room, the rooftop room, is a little bit uncomfortable because of the low ceilings but it is worth it for the terrace and we expected this from the pictures. However, it would be good if they provided curtains for all the windows in the bedroom as we had to use a spare pillow to block the view into the room (and sunlight) from one of them. Also, they play music in the bar area - which is great and generally it isn't 'loud' but if you want to get an early night you will struggle to fall asleep.

Mehmet and family were very hospitable. We stayed in 3 hotels on our 9 night holiday and the breakfast at Papermoon was the best of the lot. Also Mehmet makes a great Mojito. The hotel offers amazing value for money and we would definitely consider staying again.

Whilst the pool is a good size there are only 10 sun loungers. It was never an issue whilst we were there but wonder if it might be at peak times. Also the room we had was lovely (room 2) but it didn’t have the best soundproofing so you could hear others in the hotel moving around, banging doors etc.

Mehmet and his family are the most amazing hosts- nothing was too much for them, and they are so extremely welcoming, kind, warm and friendly. The pool is large and lovely, the breakfast is exceptionally good, and our room was comfortable with brilliant air conditioning. The cocktails and homemade gin are fabulous too, and it was wonderful to meet other families and couples at the bar/pool area.

Beautiful little hotel, clean & great location. Nothing was ever to much trouble. Pool is immaculate and only 10 minute walk down to the harbour. Breakfast was lovely, all homemade!

Our room was slightly small, however this was a budget double room so given a smaller one. The other rooms looked a lot bigger.

Didn't make any difference to my stay as solo, but as the apartment is meant for 4/5 persons, the fridge would have been a problem as shelving broken, no cooking facilities, but told could supply a two ring burner is needed.

excellent friendly staff, lovely pool, real family vibe and nice location, plenty of great restaraunts nearby and a short walk into town.Fantastic view from the penthouse appartment especially at night.

Our bed was a bit hard and needed aircon or a fan in the penthouse living area.
