Immaculately manicured grounds, with a wonderful variety of flowering bushes and trees. Wonderful, broad beach in front, and very comfortable beach chairs in areas shaded by palm trees. Beautiful room, with a large balcony and expensive patio furniture. The room itself was tastefully decorated, with nice art work and upmarket furniture. Quiet air conditioner that can quickly turn the room into an ice box; a big fridge with fresh milk for coffee and a big bottle of bottled water, and a full ice bucket upon arrival. Bed is large and firm. We were up high, making for quite a hike. The advantage: amazing sea views from the balcony and a nice breeze. Staff was very nice and sharp, especially the folks at the front desk.We paid $285 a night including breakfast – good value.

Breakfast was good, with a wide selection of goodies. The one drawback: Breakfast service was disorganized and stuff ran out. So come early!

The main restaurant was average: the service team is not well trained, with long waiting time, and meals were not that great. We booked a room right on the beach with stunning views but I feel the value for the price was not there Assistance to get to the hotel from the airport was none

The owner and property were outstanding. Herman the cat was a highlight of the trip!

AC on when we went to the GYM would have been nice. It was always very hot at the beginning of each day's workout. It would help to have more EC/USD at the front desk for exchange.

Incredible setting, staff and the wider team were brilliant and made you feel right at home. There are not many hotels where the owner and the manager give you such a warm personal welcome .... Facilities were exceptional. Rima is incredible and facilitated everything superbly.

We loved the decor,the big bed,the infinity pool,the beach and the delicious breakfast.

The lunch and dinner menu could have more variety for vegetarians and pescatarians.

I did not enjoy my dinner. The lasagna was pure liquid and I wasn't offered an alternative.

So peaceful and relaxed. It’s a small hotel, never felt busy or crowded, with beautiful gardens, a stretch of white sand and rolling waves. Food was good, if a little expensive. The staff are what make the place though - they are without exception friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. It’s simply a gorgeous place to restore yourself.

Very minor things - air con a bit noisy. Food and drink slightly expensive. But none of the quibbles detract from how great it is.
