It's a small home converted into a hotel. Very quiet, felt like I had a lot of privacy. Service was better than at another 4 star hotel I was in couple months ago. Printed out our visas for further travel. Water always available. Hotel staff easily available on whatsapp. Good quality food. Some guests even had dinners on the beach. Room looked better than on photos. Highly recommended.

This was one of the most beautiful vacation we have had. The people in Maldives are very nice and friendly, and, in particular, Sameer, his son Rishfan and his staff are absolutely amazing. Mr. Sameer is the perfect host. Very guest-oriented, not too pushy but always there to inform or help you. A hard worker who gives his best so that his guests feel comfortable and perfectly treated! The accommodation was as expected, the rooms are perfectly arranged and equipped. Sameer is offering breakfast, lunch and dinner and you can order one day in advance. You can enjoy Maldivian typical dishes, fish, seafood, chicken, pasta, salads etc. The food was excellent and made with love. You will always have cold water available on the terrasse and at the reception. Regarding trips, I strongly recommend having them with Sameer. He knows everything about Maldives and the surroundings, and offers impeccable services. If you want to see the perfect sunset, I recommend you to go fishing with Sameer. He will teach you with a lot of patience how to throw the line and feel if the fish bites. With a little bit of luck, you'll catch the Giant Trevally (as we did 😊), which is considered a specific trophy on the island. We have also had a customized trip to the local Himmafushi sand-bank and another nice small island in the area (Vabboahura). Ask Sameer for this trip, you will not regret it. Finally, we have also tried a snorkeling trip with Sameer, and he has filmed us with his GoPro camera and shared the video. By staying at Sameer, you will understand the Maldivian life style, try the local food, understand the culture and history of Maldives (from Sameer and Rishfan), enjoy very good accommodation and food at Sunrise Huraa. This is my first 10+ review Sameer and Jack went beyond my expectation They picked me up and luggagefrom getty and return. Warm welcome at the top, I had offered a fresh towel to clean my hand when I arrive with complimentary drink My room was upgraded for free at not extra charge only because it was available and it was a kind thing to do for their guest. The place was clean. And given extra towel in advance for shower and beach. Toiletries were available, plus complimentary tea and coffee with cattle in the room. Bed was very confortable. Host and staff very attentive and anticipating any need I could have. Communication was excellent. I had dinner and Maldivian breakfast- very delicious Also the apple from their tree were very nice:-) I did an excursion with Sameer and he made it memorable with the last touch of making videos with his gopro and passing everything on in a very short time for free. Service was +5stars and they made me feel at home. They let me use also a bike to go around. I felt so safe that I left my room unlocked all the time! I definitely recommend this guest house to everyone ! You should have no option for free cancellation.

Everything was superb!

Very nice approach of the owner, his son and whole Staff to the guests. Upon arrival at Huraa harbour we were welcomed by the representatives from the hotel, making us feel special from the very beginning. The same happened on the way back. During the wole stay the owner and his son were very helpful and they had philosophy that there is no problem with any of our requests. They also arranged for us a direct transport to the airport. Thanks to them we could hear a lot of interesting stories about Huraa, the nature around, fauna flora etc. The son of the owner has a really impressive knowledge about the underwater world. We found them very open minded and discussions with them were enjoyable for us. The food was also very good. We also tried the dishes in other places in Huraa but there was no comparison especially with the service. The guys from the Staff were really involved with their work too. Each person was trying to make our stay as most nice as possible. We really appreciate that we could be in such place.

The rooms were very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Beds are very comfortable. They made airport transfer very easy. Very close to the bikini beach and away from the busier part of the island although the island is very laid back.

Left our bags to go eat (had to wait to pay) and came back and they were moved and the shoes were not so we forgot them in our haste.

We had a truly enjoyable holiday on this authentic local island. The island's charm lies in its balance—enough interesting shops to explore and a nice bikini beach to unwind. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, with plenty of activities to choose from. What stood out most was the exceptional service. Despite some challenging weather, Sameer and the entire team were incredibly flexible and quick to assist in every situation. Thoughtful touches like the bikes, umbrellas or the mosquito spray made our stay even more comfortable - things, you don't think about, but need in certain situations. All in all, it was a wonderful holiday that captured the true Maldivian vibe. Highly recommended!

The owner and hotel service is extraordinary. They picked us up from the port at night and took us to the hotel by melex. Hotel is nice, super-clean and fragnant. Breakfast and lunch are delicious. Located close /walking distance (5-8 min) to the bikini beach. Highly recommend to stay. Speedboat from Male airport costs $10, local ferry $2.5 pp.

Pros: Cozy, family-run accommodation with only 4 rooms, creating a warm, personalized experience. Spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms with friendly, helpful staff who go the extra mile—like arranging alternative transport when needed and prividing with a lot of local information. A 15-minute walk to the beach, with free bicycles available for added convenience. Flexible check-out and a tasty breakfast—highly recommend trying the Maldivian option. Small, quiet island with a laid-back vibe, ideal for relaxation; the public bikini beach is well-equipped with publich/free sunbeds and umbrellas and very likely you'll have the whole beach for yourself.

Cons: Limited amenities on the island; it’s quiet and very local, so not ideal if you’re looking for variety in dining or activities. Only one beach, which is nice, but it may not appeal to those seeking beach hopping/exploring.

We were wonderfully taken care of. as soon as we arrive in the Maldives at the airport, the journey to Malé Huraa is done by speed boat in just 15 minutes. During from our arrival on the island, we were very well welcomed by smiling and welcoming staff. Our room was simply beautiful, spacious, very comfortable, well equipped and relaxing. We immediately felt like at home to our greatest happiness. Coast breakfast, we couldn't ask for better. Indeed, there is a wide choice offered to customers. At subject of activities, a large panel is available for all budgets. We had the chance to participate in the fishing activity with snorkeling and blue lagoon sandbank excursion which was Magic. On the trip I see too much daulphin it’s amazing ! We thank the staff for all the organization of the latter, for their smile and their kindness. A memorable moment in the middle of Indian Ocean. In addition, we were able to diversify our catering thanks to the restaurants located on the island, all of which are perfect. A very special thank you to Abdullah who organized our stay to perfection and who gave himself bother to respond to all our requests. We we really liked the moment of diving as well as the video taken with his GoPro which will remain a memory for life.
