Set in a beautiful large house, we were meet by a very friendly hostess and a beautiful large dog (Rusty). There was also a garage where we could store our bicycles, which was good since it started raining just as we arrived. The rooms are quite minimalistic and sober (no soap, no glasses, no table), but for a short stay, everything you need is there, including a good bed. It is also very clean and comfortable. There are no restaurants or supermarkets close by so we had brought some bread and cheese etc. with us, and the hostess suggested that we use her kitchen facilities which was fantastic. She supplied us with plates, cutlery, wine glasses etc. and we didn't even have to washup afterwards! Breakfast was nicely presented and there was enough of it, including good coffee.

I missed a table & chair in the bedroom, and a small bar of soap would have come in handy. However for the price, it is great value for the money!

A lovely house and a very friendly host in a quiet village, close to the lake Madine. The surroundings are green and peaceful. The breakfast is tasty, and with homemade jam.

It was all good. The pictures on booking.com are spare (only 2 pictures). Just go and experience the place and the hospitality, it is a lovely place to stay.
