Given the age of the building (1896), I thought it was well-maintained. The owner was also very helpful in helping us try to locate WW1 American soldier sites, using period photographs that I had. He spent a lot of time with us. Finally, it is situated next to La Table a Victor, a highly-rated restaurant in Toul.

There was nothing I did not like about the hotel.

We are so happy to haved found this hotel! The personnel were VERY helpful and friendly. The rooms were air conditioned, clean with VERY good mattresses!!! There was a garage, as well, where we could park and charge our e bikes. The neighboring restaurant was a real treat!!! We highly recommend this hotel!!!! A huge thank you to the staff!!

Late booking for 5 rooms. Needed the lock up garages too and accommodated our request with quick response via messaging to confirm our request. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on quality as we were on a tight schedule. Hotel has nice restaurants nearby that we used that evening.

Very noisy road sweeper and drainage cleaning machine turned up outside the hotel at 6.30am. Not the owners fault but did wake us a bit earlier than planned as needed windows open as no aircon.

Nice clean hotel, the breakfast is basic but we enjoyed it. Free parking around the corner next to the train station where they also have chargers for electric cars. Friendly and helpful staff. Toul is a nice town with an old town, everything at walking distance.

Easy to find from the train station (next door). Easy to walk into the town down the main road. Very comfortable room with queen sized bed. The room contained a mini fridge and was quite spacious. The bathroom was okay, shower and the usual.

Could have done with a set of towels each, rather than 1 set between us, but we were only there 1 night so didn't bother asking for more.

Room was nice , bathroom/toilet a little "idiosyncratic" Good breakfast - owner speaks excellent English.

We arrived as the station car park at the rear of the hotel was being renovated. The free parking was too far to walk with luggage. Secure parking in garage cost us 15euro per night - bit on the high side.

The property was charming and seemed freshly renovated. Well located next door to a wonderful restaurant and an easy walk to the canal basin marina. There was ample street parking and also on-site secure parking for a reasonable fee. A perfect place to break a long journey and excellent value for money

It didn’t bother us, but there is no lift. People who can’t manage stairs should ask for a ground floor room.

Great hotel, beauty not apparent from the outside. Operator was extremely friendly and attentive. If you know little to no French, you can communicate in English.

There was unfortunately no air conditioning or at least a fan.

The patron was excellent very approachable and friendly. Happy to provide advice and recommendations. There was a good variety for breakfast.
