I was a bit worried when reading the reviews, but we had a great stay, the room was big enough for us and the kids, we had a nice balcony with view, the staff was friendly, so really we can't complain. It's also hard to do better when it comes to location, it is right in the center, everything is accessible on foot. People also complain about the lift, but I found it actually charming, like a piece of history. We were on the top floor so we needed it often and yet it has never been a problem, we never had to wait too long for it.

Otherwise, of course this is not a five star hotel, it was not the cleanest, and there was a few issues here and there (slightly clogged sink and so on), but nothing too problematic.

Great location close to the train station. I also walked to most of the touristy area. The price was fair for a decent single room. There was a small balcony for fresh air. Room was warm in the winter.

The bathtowel I had in my room had stain on it (probably just couldn't be removed in regular wash) but this was quickly corrected. I could go to the front desk even late at night and they found me some clean replacement.

The hotel staff was very nice and recommended some great entertainment for the evening. He was funny and made the start of our stay very welcoming after a bad travel experience. The room was clean and had what we needed. Breakfast down in the catacombs was good and was easy to grab food before we continued on with out next stop. The fan provided in the room helped the compfort of sleeping. It's June and getting hot.

We couldn't figure out the elevator, so we had to walk up 3 stories. With the windows open it's just a noisy spot. But I imagine most areas are like this with the nightlife in Nancy.

Although it looks like not much from the outside, this is just one of the best places I have found in Nancy. The disabled access room on the ground floor was just fantastic. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Hotel Foch who made us feel so welcome. We had a lovely stay. Breakfast was lovely. The rooms upstairs were fine. Thank you all!

Ok if I had to criticise something, it would be the lift. The stairs were fine, and the disabled access room on the ground floor meant that everybody was happy.

Good thing there's a CarreFour Express Supermarket with long hours right below. Uncomplicated, no-frills hotel, and right near the center. Elevator old fashioned & charming. Clean.

Location is near the main railway station. So it's busy. There are a few fast-food joints on the same block, so the sidewalks are sticky. Plus many folks loitering. Plus the delivery boys of the supermarket with their scooters are hanging out in front on the narrow sidewalk.

Beds were comfortable. Good location. Staff was friendly and helpful; good to help us out, at a time there were a limited amount of hotel space in Nancy.

I personally had no complaints with it. But there are some people who may find issues with older elevator being a bit small, and slow.

Very good location close to the city center, walking distance. Staff veru friendly and helpful. We came on bikes and they helped us to lock it securely. Breakfast delicious

It was extremely hot and there was no air conditioning system but they were considerate and provided ventilators to solve the problem.

Great location, a few steps from the railway station and short walk to place Stanislas. Nice small quiet room, facing back as requested. Friendly staff.
