The location was perfect, being only about 5 minutes walk from the railway station and the bus station. Although our room faced the street, the double glazing meant that there was no noise from the street at all. The room was spacious with some attractive, old-fashioned features. The beds were very comfortable and a kettle was provided in the room. Free hot drinks and snacks were also available in reception at any time. The reception staff were exceptionally welcoming and spoke good English. The breakfast buffet was good, with attentive service.

The shower room was very small. The lift was small and very slow. We were on the first floor and found it easier to use the stairs.

- We booked a family room and a double room and were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms. The family room could have easily accomodated all 5 of us since it had 2 single beds and a very large double bed. - The location is very central and easily walkable to the main square and surrounding shopping streets - There are many restaurants in the area as well which was convenient - Free tea and coffee in the reception area - Elevator to the upper floors so you dont have to lug your suitcase on stairs.

- The shower in the family room (103) had space between the shower door and the floor meaning lot of water leaked out if you did not stand exactly in a certain position. They should change the rubber lining and it would be perfect - Breakfast was very disappointing. Cornflakes, croissants, and yogurt. No fruits, no sausages, no scrambled eggs nothing. I am taking off a point just for the lack of options for breakfast - The parking garage suggested by the property had horrible reviews and after reading them I decided I will not park my car there due to how bad it was and also how unsafe it was. I parked my car on the street instead (paid parking) a few streets away which was not very difficult to find

We arrived at the Stanley Hotel, which is conveniently located near the city center of Nancy. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the place was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. They even upgraded us to a 4-bed room, even though we were just two people—such a nice surprise! Finding parking took about 30 minutes, but we eventually found a spot a few streets away. Parking was free until 10:00 am the next day, which was very convenient. Breakfast, included in our booking, was fantastic and refreshing. There was also complimentary coffee and tea available at the entrance, which was a nice touch. We’ll definitely be back at the Stanley Hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The only minor issue was occasional noise from other guests passing by our room, but it was understandable and didn’t affect our stay too much.

Great location and staff, 4 minutes walking with luggage from the train station and directly at the main shopping street. They take care of the details, coffee, tea, and water available 24/7 at the reception, fresh and nice breakfast. it has everything you need to visit Nancy.

the walls are thin, because its an old building, there was no sound coming from the outside, but you could hear the other rooms. This was not a big problem for us, as the other guests were very respectful and nobody made noise during the night.

The location is perfect. The famous square Stanislas is 650 meters away from the hotel. There is an underground parking lot close to the hotel. It costs 18 Euro for one night. The room is clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. There is a French balcony against the main street. The bathroom is modern and well designed with a big bathtub. We are satisfied with our stay here. The room offered excellent quality at an affordable price.

The staff are all wonderfully friendly and helpful. The water station in the lobby with cold, cool, and hot water with teas and flavorings was a wonderful feature, plus some tempting little pieces of cake on offer. We appreciated the invitation to help the environment by filling the provided glass bottle with drinking water, using our towels twice, and the unbleached-but-soft toilet paper. Breakfast was a great buffet in a charming basement dining room, well worth the additional charge. Our room turned out to be a sort of suite with extra beds and many pillows. Luggage storage during a day trip was also very welcome.

Summer travellers should be warned that this is a very old building and there is no air-conditioning in the rooms. We were fortunate to arrive just as a cold front and thunderstorm came through, and there was a fan in the room which helped bring in the cooler air. The street is being repaved, and the entrance to the hotel is not immediately obvious.

Room was very good. Very good breakfast. The availability of water and drinks in a period of very hot weather was very welcome.

Though the hotel is very c;lose to the station, we found it a bit hard to find - the frontage is narrow and you need to look up to see the hotel sign on the first floor level,

We had a lovely room, tastefully decorated with a view of the square across the street - but it was super quiet thanks to some serious double windows. The shower was nice and hot with plenty of hot water. Fluffy towels and nice touches in the room like our own kettle and an old fireplace. There is free coffee, tea, flavoured water and little cakes in the lobby. We left our luggage with the front of house staff while visiting Nancy after checking out. Everyone was super friendly!

I liked the location very much, close to the railway station and at the beginning of one of the main shopping streets. Additionally, in front of the hotel is a small park, nice place to stop for a while.

The only thing that I didn't like is not connected to the hotel - the street that connects the hotel with the main square is partly closed because of the construction works.

The hotel was cozy and clean. The staff members were friendly and treated each question or necessity with warmth and kindness. The location is a good spot if looking for safety in a central area. I found it very thoughtful that there is water, tea and syrops available near the reception, during the whole day and night.
