Wonderful property with large, comfortable rooms, (or suite). Very accommodating host and family who made us very welcome despite us arriving early. Martina gave some good recommendations for the city. Very central location, but tucked away enough not to be loud at night. Exceptional fresh continental breakfast This booking was just supposed to be a stopover on our way back to the UK, but we all loved Nancy and will definitely return to both the city and this property. If you go, don’t miss the light show in the main square every evening. Lovely stay, fabulous property. Thank you.

Everything. The house has been beautifully renovated with excellent taste in the decoration, paintings, sculptures and furnishings. Martine and her team are a delight - friendly, welcoming, helpful and engaging. The room was a quirky and stylish conversion from the old stable (huge) of the house, with cobbled floor, walls lined with bookcases and a collection of vinyl LPs and singles to die for - but sadly no record player! Beautifully converted en suite and a kitchenette with coffee machine, kettle, fridge and microwave. Location 5 mins stroll from Place Stanislas and just around the corner from the cathedral. Breakfast is a very substantial continental breakfast with fresh fruit, locally made yoghurt and preserves. Definitely returning!

A couple of shelves or drawers for small clothes would be useful.

The location was great. Ten minutes walk to the centre of Nancy where we took a tourist train for an hour to see the city and had an excellent meal in the stunning square after a recommendation from the receptionist. The hotel is a perfect size. It’s clean with really lovely furniture and artifacts. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who were all professional and very helpful. The carefully presented breakfast in the courtyard was delicious. We also appreciated the safe parking two minutes away in a secure school playground.

It was well located, within easy walking distance to the shoppingth area and to beautiful Square Stanislas. Parking was also convenient. There is a lovely garden courtyard where one can relax on a hot day. We loved Nancy and will definitely return for more than just an overnight stay. It is a vibrant and attractive city thT will just get better when the current program of works to improve the urban fabric of the town centre has been completed.

Nothing, but be aware that there is no air conditioning, only a fan, which we found quite adequate.

The staff are excellent, the location is very central, short walk to the square, the rooms are very comfortable and quite, I would highly recommend this as a place to stay the secure car park is around the corner and only a short walk, drop your bags off at the Hotel and then park up and walk, its like 12 euros for 24hrs I think remarkably cheap I thought. Breakfast is continental, charming staff, could not do enough 10/10 love this place will stay again on my next trip to Switzerland.

A lovely "maison d'hote". Our room was spacious with a small kitchenette including a Nespresso coffee machine. The Grandmother who ran the house was very friendly as were the largely family staff. The property is very well situated only 5 minutes from Place Stanislas. Breakfast was taken in the courtyard and was lovely - bread, croissants, brioche, ham, cheese, jams, yoghurt and fruit. We parked in the school grounds which cost 10 euro a day but is very secure and offers shade for the car. You can easily load and unload outside the front door of the hotel and the car park is only a 100 metres away

Incredibly gracious and elegant place to stay in Nancy! Extremely hospitable, Martine, greeted us with warmth, helpful information, and a lovely welcome. From the moment you enter the door, you experience a serene, elegant, beautiful little entry stone-floor courtyard laced with a wisteria ceiling. The rooms were delightfully decorated to incorporate the art themes of Nancy, along with older antiques. The breakfast courtyard was spacious, open to sunlight, with many comfortable seating arrangements all graciously appointed amidst flowers and garden. The breakfast was outstanding, ample, and beautifully presented - the best breakfast we have had in any place during our stay in France. So picturesque and elegant in every way!

The room was very french. Breakfast was lovely outside (though wasps a bit of a pain). Staff were very nice.

I didn't like the sink being in the bedroom. Upstairs was noisy. No lift so you have to carry your suitcase up lots of stairs. No on site parking so had to park in a multi storey car park in the city centre and walk with your bags to the hotel (though only a 7 minute walk). Luckily the directions on Booking.com to the hotel were clear.

Staying in this beautiful house was a privilege. A quiet sanctuary and yet close enough to walk to the main square (Place Stanislas) which was amazing and totally worth a visit. Our room was bright, comfortable, and beautifuly decorated. Private parking nearby was great. The staff were deligtfully helpful and breakfast was superb. The entire property is full of interesting objet d'art making it a real experience to stay.

Loved this little boutique hotel. We had a large room and were well looked after by our host Martine and her gorgeous Grandchildren who checked us in and showed us to our room. Breakfast was delicious and was developed from local ingredients and homemade. Beautiful to sit in the space to eat..is very close to local attractions and restaurants..

The bed was a little firm for our usual liking but would probably suit others.
