after travelling to several towns 'including moree for work twice, we found the motels we previously stayed at in moree were acceptable but not of the comfort level we are accustomed being rated as 3-star. after my work finished late on the last day we decided to spend one more night at our own cost and while the albert was rated at modest 4 star on the booking site and we took up the special offer we found it much more comfortable as far as location, surroundings, bedding, space and inclusions

we prefer to sleep with a window open and we did find the nearby highway had interspersions of traffic all night. we do understand however that the motel is built to very high standards with double-glazing to reduce noise and effective air conditioning to offset this

It was our 1st motel on our Great Inland Way drive, and I was pleasantly surprised! Very nicely appointed,clean and spacious room that was divided in two rooms with the help of a sliding/retractable door that could be left open or close. One room had a queen (perhaps king not sure) bed and another room with 3 single beds ideal for teenagers/kids. Small kitchenette with micro oven, fridge, tea/coffee facilities with quality butter biscuits not the average Arnotts 2 pack biscuits that we have found in all the other motels we stayed at. Also option of powdered chocolate to make hot chocolate was good, also not offered at other motels. The selected shampoo/conditioner/soap was also better quality compared to other motels. Allocated car spot for your room. Room offer nature views. Gated entry after hours for added safety. We got extra towels free of charge when the lady at reception heard we wanted to try the thermal pools. Nice gesture.

The place is secure, clean and well kept all of these things combined to make our stay very pleasant. Check in was easy and gaining access after hours was also very easy.

A small thing but the angle of the TV could not be changed which made watching TV in the double bed a little strange; we stayed for 3 days and used the mugs regularly but they were not changed when the room was made up a first world problem really

Albert Motel caters for travellers needs. Loved the size of our room and the bench space for work or meals. Parking spaces are numbered and security gate closed at night. It is situated on the outskirts of town so car was handy to get dinner or there is a club next door. We ordered the hot breakfast and it did not disappoint. Large portions and tasty and service with a smile. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Thank you we could not fault anything here.

The Albert Motel was an excellent stop for one night on a road trip. The room was comfortable with a toaster, jug, fridge and microwave in the room. You could walk through a side gate to the Services Club for dinner which also had an excellent children’s playground. The motel is secure at night with entry gates closed and only opened with a unit swipe card.

Location was excellent next door to the services club and show grounds. Booked the first night through booking.com then second through the manager; she was not a very friendly person unfortunately. However the accommodation was extremely clean, well maintained and had everything and more than expected. We will stay here again next visit into town.

The owner could be a little friendlier. Even just a smile rather than being annoyed that I wanted to pay for my extra night.

The motel is right next to the Services club which is super convenient. Less than a 5 minute walk. The motel is next to the river and off the highway which makes for a very quiet night. The check- in experience was thorough and super informative (we arrived late so all the instructions and directions were easy to follow.

I mean really was there anything. We were staying with others from our local sporting club so was nice to have a space outside our room to meet and talk without having to be in our rooms. The only thing I didn't like is that the pool was no artesian spa... but really I am nit picking here

Super friendly staff, arrived late, accommodated this with provision of lock box key access. car was secure behind gated parking. Access to town was straightforward and easy.

Common smoking area was external to provided room, so was unable to have window open. Needs to be positioned a bit further away from rooms. otherwise no problems with this accommodation.

Gated motel. Nice pool. Good breakfast. Extremely polite young man delivering breakfast. Nice toiletries, good location. Love that it was so close to club next door.

Why was I given a disabled room? ‘Office’ people only just interested. No big ask to say” Have a nice day. Travel well. Did you enjoy your stay?” Nada .

Big room with plenty of convenient facilities like a toasty warm aircon and a microwave & toaster. RSL club next door for a lovely meal. Customer service was warm with friendly staff. Easy check-in and check out process.

Bathroom could be a bit bigger with a heat lamp
