Loved the homemade jam with peach and apricot. Best tasting fresh fruit and wonderful croissant. Especially nice hosts who made us comfortable in their beautiful, peaceful backyard setting. They also went out of their way to help us settle in with dinner, which was the best meal and most wonderful experience in southern Italy. Completely wonderful people and experience we will always remember and love, and perfect setting for the nearby Greek temples, beach and easy access to train station. Excellent and ornate room to stay, and the deck was wonderful to relax. Loved everything about the people and their land. Special place.

We only wish we could have stayed longer!

This farm stay is a jewel! The owners and staff are friendly and generous and the property is a beautiful working farm with tons of vegetables, flowers and animals. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the room was very clean and tidy. The owners let us borrow bikes to get around Paestum - if you don't have a car, this is absolutely ESSENTIAL.

It is a marvelous property, but for now, it is really important to have a car to get there and around town (though the owners kindly lent us bikes for our stay). The property is a 15 minute walk from the train station, but there is NO SIDEWALK and it is a very dangerous walk on a country road. Additionally, though there are taxis in town, they stay on the other side of the train station and with roads closed to cross the tracks (even on bike or on foot), they have to drive 10-15 minutes out of the way to get you back there and it costs 20 Euro. Bring a car or stay on the other side of the train station.

Friendly welcome from the staff; great recommendation for a nearby evening meal. Good breakfast. Excellent location very close to Paestum on a farm/small holding with lots of sound of nature.

Bath/shower was a bit less than expected

The bugs will seriously bite the hell out of you here. I didn't see anything to repel the mosquitos around. Walking is good around here, but if you have tons of luggage. You need a taxi cause it's a bit of a walk on the road. No buses straight there but the hosts are super nice and offered me a ride to train station. No AC. Extremely hot at night. Other than that this place extremely nice. Very homey.

The antica Forneria is very close to the Archeological Park in Paestum but it is an the country. The rooms open to the garden which is beautiful and well kept. The owner is a very pleasant lady and the breakfast well worth eating: real croissants, not the packaged plastic ones, and home made jam.

Sweet place just outside the city with their own vegetable garden and farm animals. The hosts speak German and French and were very accommodating. We arrived on foot (15 min walk from the train station) and they lend us some of their old bikes for free so we could go explore Paestum! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Owners are very kind and attentive. I was able to borrow a bike to get to the archeological park and museum. after i had forgotten my medicine they drove to the train station to give it to me. (I hadn’t noticed yet).
