Breakfast was awesome! Lovely fresh fruit, lots of pastries, and both Eastern and Western breakfast options. There was a filtered water tap reducing use of plastic bottles for complimentary water. They were really good about ECO cleans and only replacing towels on the floor and no unnecessary change of bedlinens. The mattress was nice and firm.

The pool times felt a little restrictive: 0900-1145; 1300-1800. Would have been happier to have more opportunity to swim.

My family loved the view from the balcony. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff were helpful. My father has mobility issues and the staff helped us to get a suitable seat and brought him coffee. The whole family loved the pool and view.

WM Hotel was a 10 min walk away from the main town and the pier, so after going for a swim in Hap Mun Bay, we very comfortably walked back to the hotel to get ready for the evening. The hotel is directly next to a bus stop that took us all the way from Sha Tin MTR station in an hour. Staff, from the lobby to the rooftop pool, were friendly, informative and efficient. The location and design was stunning and peaceful (highly recommend checking out the view from the rooftop pool). For the price I paid, the room was exceptional (dual automatic blinds with differing opacity) and the amenities (ergonomic slippers and bath robes) were a welcome surprise- super high quality.

I was surprised at how English the entire hotel was, considering its location and clientele from Asia. There was only English tea available in the rooms, only English breakfast in the cafe, and only English news on the TV. I'm from London so it personally didn't bother me, but regarding accessibility, and the lack of competition in the area for similarly priced hotels, this very deliberate branding surprised me. I was also surprised that staff members couldn't recommend places to eat in the area, considering how small the area is. I was looking to organise a seafood dinner for my visiting grandparents, and needed insight on which restaurants would be the most accessible, for physical disabilities.
