Bed and room was really restful. Staff really professional and friendly. I love the eco initiatives such as a water dispenser instead of single use bottles (but i’m already a DIY traveller with my own filter bottles and toiletries.) Location is fabulous. The reviews that say there’s not much around, not even a convenience shop, clearly they’ve not taken the Metro or gone on the main Hoi Yuen Road: A Watsons and 7-11 near the Metro; a pound/dollar shop on Hoi Yuen Road; lots of local food around (a decrnt dim sum restaurant just opposite; some roasted meat joints further up Hung To Road and inside Kwun Tong Plaza. Street food. Go explore.) Kwun Tong was an industrial area before and the landscape and road names around are still reminiscent of that history. Manhattan ain’t got nothing on the character of this place. Easy to get around Hong Kong by metro or even taxi.

The room was clean, and requests were graciously accepted.

Although requests were accepted, they were not always followed through. Eg. Asked for 2 shower caps, was only given one. Eg. Asked for an adaptor to be sent to the room when going out, none were found when we came back. They did help when asked again.

A nice little, well run hotel. If you want to be close to Kai Tak terminal, this is your place. Friendly staff, a flawless check-in, food deliveries are handled as expected, I can't complain even if I wanted to.

Far from MTR station, particularly if you are carrying luggage.

That is wonderful room with a city view at a higher level. The location is good and just take few minutes walk towards the MTR Kwun Tong station and bus stop. There are many restaurant for me to choose so that I didn't try the breakfast in the Hotel.

Well that's hard to say a little bit noisy from the air conditioner but it doesn't matter. That's fine.

Upon arrival I was told my room was being upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise. The room was so spacious and there was a bathtub so it was very relaxing. The rooms had beautiful chandeliers and huge windows and everything was welcoming and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay there. The hotel is a little far from the centre but HK is so easy to get around that it didnt really matter. There is an MTR station nearby and a ferry port to take you across the river. The price was also very reasonable by HK standards!

Not central but it wasn't a big deal. Lots of shops, coffee, restaurants right next to the hotel and a metro station within 10 minutes walk

Good TV with BBC news. Clean bedding, lovely room. Spacious and clean.

The room was cold—an awkward place to plug in a kettle. Restaurants nearby were not fabulous, were very expensive, and tasted weird; it was an industrial area out of the city. Bit disappointing. But the hotel was comfortable. I rang room service for a glass of red wine but they had run out, so I didn't get anything. Anything extra, like water, had to be paid for. The restaurant was cold and the menus were all in Chinese with no English translations. There is no bar, no English-speaking restaurant. The swimming pool was closed.

-Overall stay was a nice, hassle-free and comfortable experience in Dorsett. -The location is 8-10 minutes walk to Kwun Tong MTR station. -4 minutes from hotel you can take a bus (2 transfers) to airport. -Generally clean, housekeeping does a great job cleaning the room everyday. -Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and changes menu everyday. It starts at 7:30 AM. At least 6:30 start would be great for guests with an earlier day. -They let you keep luggages in the lobby if your room is not yet ready or you’ve checked out already. -Staff are easily approached and helpful. -Pricey, but for Hong Kong rates and the value of hotel, Dorsett is a fine choice for your stay.

I really liked pretty much everything about this hotel. Its easy to get to, great dim sum restaurant across the street, walkable neighborhood, and maybe a 10-15 minute walk to the train station. The hotel was very clean and the staff were super accommodating. Breakfast was delicious every day. There was a nice mix of fresh and cooked foods available every morning a long with coffee, tea, water, and juices.

I think the only thing I didnt like about the hotel was its party shower. There is a giant window in the shower that looks into the room. There is a curtain that you can let down to make the shower private and thats what we did.

The reasonable pricing and a lot of stuff to do all around. Bus rides are very near and a lot of routes to MTR
