I was in room 28. I loved the balcony view. the room was big for one person but would also be good for 2-3. the shower was good pressure. the room was quiet. everything was very clean.

unfortunately the mattress was uncomfortable with the springs digging into me. I spread the 2 duvets over it so I could sleep pn top of them. A firm bed is OK but the springs made this uncomfortable. all it needs is a mattress topper

We arrived with 2 people and had an upgrade, a whole familyroom! The big bed was clean and firm, the way I like it, it is nice that you are sleeping in a bit of a niche. Extra sleepingcouch was firm and extra chair too. Nice to put stuff on. Kitchen was OK, clean and complete. There was a folding table. Shower was hot and had good water pressure. Everything is clean. The location is stunning. Breakfast wil do nicely, view is THE extra, wish we could stay one more night! Remember you have to take the ferry from Hong Kong Island so check the latest. Reception in the shop behind is open till 24 h midnight, otherwise it is self check inn. When you arrive at the pier around midnight some pubs, shops (minimarket) and street stalls are open so you can get something to eat.

Only a bed side lamp was missing

Breakfast with a view over the harbour was a nice surprise and at only 40HKD was cheap, in our opinion. I've had a lot worse for a lot more.

The bed is basically a mattress between two walls so at my height (a modest 186cm / 6'2") it is impossible to stretch out. There's nowhere for your feet to go except diagonally.

The location was great, you don't get anything from the outside, and it's very edible at the same time, the staff was very accommodating and professional. The rooms are nice, clean and spotless. For what it costs it's perfect.

The bed was extremely stiff, literally this is the only negative point

Breakfast was good and the view from the roof terrace is splendid! The room is cosy, clean and comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

There's no lift so must be prepared to carry luggage up flights of stairs but for a short stay, it shouldn't matter.

Frequent visitor to the Lychee Sunset Hotel. I like the location, a stones throw from the beach but on a little lane (opposite the police station) It has a roof terrace with great views over the port and the sea beyond, to watch the sunset, or sunrise. The room is very small - no good for big suitcases but perfect to sleep, wash and go.

Room is very small but price reflects that

The Lychee was perfect - great communication and the staff were so lovely. Rooms were great sizes and we got a balcony too! Close to the marina, good food and the beach. Could not have been happier!

There was nothing I didn't like!

Prime location just a 5min walk from the pier. Central location making it easy to explore both northern and southern part of the island. The rooftop bar (which was not open during our time of visit) was perfect for observing the sunset ◡̈

Rooms were small, but as expected of Hong Kong. Also no lift available to access the upper floor, so be ready to carry your luggages up, but that wasn't an issue for me.

Great location, really clean and quiet. We tried a few places on Cheung Chau and this one is the best one we went to! This is definitely going to be where we will stay for our future get away weekends.
