We stayed at Dorsett for the first time and had a great overall experience. The hospitality was exceptional, and we truly appreciated their attentiveness. As vegetarians, we were pleasantly surprised that they catered to our dietary needs, even though we hadn’t informed them in advance. Everything about our stay was wonderful, except for the location. We initially thought it was in the central Kowloon area, but it turned out to be quite far, though they do offer shuttle services. If location isn’t a primary concern, it’s definitely a great place to stay. Plus, it's a newly opened property, launched in September 2024.

Brand new hotel opened in Sept 2024. 7 mins walk to subway station. Friendly staff.

The hotel is located in a new zone which is still under construction. It is not in the central tourist area. It is close to the sport stadium. It takes 15 to 20 mins walk to access to restaurants or supermarkets in Kowloon city or Airside or 10 mins to the stadium mall across the street Hotel shuttle to Airside only runs from 10 to 7. The other transportation option is taxi. The standard room with 3 beds is a bit crowded. Not enough space for luggage storage.

Modern property with a luxury feel, from the moment you arrive at the front doors. Rooms were excellent, staff extremely helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The surrounding area is currently under development, so please allow for 15 minutes to walk to the nearest MTR station, however this is mitigated as the hotel offers a free shuttle every 30 minutes. We paid extra for what was advertised as a harbour view. I personally thought this was misold as the vast majority of water is entirely obstructed with other buildings. Just stick to the standard room.

asked for the youth stadium view, in my opinion more open than the harbour view. top floor bar is a nice place to hang out. wifi was stable and fast. staff are nice.

no where to put your own shampoo bottles/ tooth brush in the shower. no where to hang your own wash bag near the sink (closest alternative is the trolley under the sink). bath towels are inconveniently placed on a rack above the toilet, separate to the shower. no where to hang the towel just outside the shower, you would have to place it on top of the sink. to use the mirror in the bathroom i only found one top down spot light, impractical. tv does not have netflix or other major streaming apps. hdmi is an option however the port was difficult to reach. odd arrangement to go through a stainless steel fire door to access the pool, which is right next to the bar entrance. shuttle bus has no luggage rack.

Hotel really new, the room was fine, nice employees, new gym at second floor with several fitness machines. It also has a Spanish restaurant at second floor and a good bar for cocktails at 15th floor with a good view terrace.

The place where the hotel is located is new and there is all under construction in this area. So to arrive to the hotel we had to walk about 25 minutes from the subway station. When we arrived to the hotel they said us they have a shuttle bus from subway to the hotel many times a day. It is better to contact with the hotel to pick up up at subway station of kai tak.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The close-up views of the new stadium were absolutely immaculate, offering a stunning sight from my room. The guest service staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. I also loved the skybar on the rooftop, where I could relax and enjoy a wide selection of classic cocktails. Overall, a wonderful experience that I highly recommend!

While my overall stay was great, I did notice that much of the surrounding neighborhood is still under construction, and public transportation in the area is quite limited. Thankfully, the hotel offers a convenient shuttle bus service from 11 am to 7:45 pm daily. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant on the second floor is not yet open, which limited my dining options during my stay.

Stunning hotel! The gym is very well-equipped and even has a non-motorised treadmill - hard to find in hotel gyms! The hotel team were very friendly. It is also quite convenient thanks to the free shuttle bus from Airside. I took the ferry across from North Point for the full experience and it took me 8 minutes at a casual pace to arrive to the hotel. As one of the first guests, we were invited to our own ribbon cutting ceremony when we reached the guestroom! The room had great views of the sports ground and is eco-friendly with pretty green glass bottles for us to refill with drinking water from the dispenser located on every floor! Definitely don't miss the sunset at the Jin Bo Law skybar/rooftop pool!

Great Stay at Dorsett Kai Tak! I stayed in the Premier Harbourview Room, which had breathtaking panorama views of the skyline from Kowloon side. Was great to wake up to in the morning and truly a highlight of my stay. I loved the convenience of being able to refill water right outside my room without having to call housekeeping to refill the water in my room - it is not only eco-friendly but also incredibly convenient. The drinks at Jin Bo Law were also nice and great for sunset. Additionally, the complimentary shuttle bus from Airside/Kai Tak MTR to the hotel was a thoughtful touch.

We were among the very first guests to check in on the hotel’s opening day, and everything was simply fantastic. The hotel shuttle from AIRSIDE shopping mall was a breeze! Big shout out to Icarus the manager who upgraded us to a stunning suite. The view from our room overlooking the new Kai Tak Sports Park main stadium was breathtaking. We also enjoyed some amazing signature cocktails at the poolside skybar, Jin Bo Law. Each sip was delightful! I would recommend Dorsett Kai Tak to anyone visiting the area.
