Fantastic Boutique hotel 5 mins walk from the town centre in a quiet picturesque location. Our room was perfect, large, airy, super comfortable and super clean, great hot water. The room was upstirs on the first floor, reached via a quirky rower with spiral staircase. Everything first-class. What makes this place so special is the individual attention paid to everyone & everything by the owner, nothing was too much- from the moment of us turning up 2 hours early. Dinner was superb, I don't remember eating a better meal, in terms of the whole experience, the food, the service, the ambience of the outside courtyard, fantastic. Breakfast similarly excellent. Both well worth having We were walking the Chemin de Compostelle, this was a great stop. Thank you Renz!

Close to the motorway so convenient for an overnight stay . TV in the room didn’t work but the host was very helpful and found a solution. Very nice room and courtyard, a short walk into town . On a previous visit the restaurant was open and it was very nice, but it’s not open on a Sunday

Beware if you are travelling on a Sunday as the restaurant is not open and most places in town are also closed . It would help to put this on the Booking profile. Tea and coffee in the room would be nice and an ice machine accessible when there are no staff around.

The meals were good. The people were friendly.

This is not a 'Dislike', just an inconvenience for me. I am only five feet tall, and there was no mirror in the bedroom or bathroom that I was able to see myself in!

A very nice little bnb with comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Just 5 mins off of the motorway and a much better option than staying in a regular motorway stop over. Charming, quirky and with a decent breakfast Great value for money. Ideal for me as I was on my way back to England from Spain. I

I would have liked a kettle in the room to make tea.

All is really simple and fantastic. The guest is super, nice and super available , food is excellent and the Room is big and with air conditioning. I asked for gluten free solution. A great experience

Loved everything, the very nicely decorated room, the courtyard, the excellent and charming host who served delicious food. Meeting his very well behaved kids was a bonus. Perfect. Well done. Will be back.

Very quirky !! loved the quiet and yet central location. Staff very pleasant - great rose wine !! Lovely evening meal at the property which was very welcome after an 8 hour drive !

Just a little tired in places - very clean but outside area in need of some TLC. Little touches like fragrances in bathroom / toilet ( currently empty) need sorting .

Only one large towel in the room. Transparency on the prices of the food. Offered salmon or steak for dinner. Steak was cooked to perfection however there was no mention there would be a supplement to pay for this at the time until we paid in the morning.

Perfect location for breaking a journey right across France, halfway from any direction. In spite of very hot weather the room was kept cool with a ceiling fan. Dinner and breakfast excellent. Very friendly owners - and cat. A delight.

A real gem tucked away in a quiet street in Saint-Amand-Montrond yet only minutes off the autoroute making it ideal for our stop off on the way back from Provence. Lovely rooms accessed up a charming spiral staircase, and a wonderful breakfast in the sunny courtyard.
