One always knows what to expect from Novotel and this did not disappoint. The room was clean, comfy and functional with a desk, safe and kettle. The hotel is very close to junction 7 off the A71 but due to a new industrial area being created it was was difficult to find on the satnav, however, Google maps got us to the location. The restaurant evening menu was enjoyable and the breakfast, as with all Novotel was substantial and good value with plenty of choice

The restaurant was very busy for the evening and we had to wait for a reservation, but it was worth it.

All the young staff were incredibly polite and very helpful. Speedy checkin and out. The restaurant manager was very efficient and ran it perfectly. Menu was limited but who needs lots of choices after a days journey. We all ate well. Location is perfect for a stop over as it’s just off the motorway and you can’t hear it due to triple glazing. Our teens loved the fast wifi, usb chargers and smart tv, having been deprived of these luxuries for the previous 12 days in rural France. The swimming pool was an absolute god send, not huge but everyone was respectful. Brilliant, happy holiday atmosphere and the bar and staff were a huge hit!

Loved our night there but It is not cheap. No fault of the hotel but the previous occupants had not respected the no smoking rule. No other negatives

The staff communicated with me directly regarding my room selection. The rooms when we arrived were well prepared and an excellent size, with plenty of room for my daughter's equipment. The breakfast was also very good - classic hotel fare of hot and cold food - especially liked the home made granola and local honey.

Even though our daughter is disabled, we couldn't use the disabled room as we require twin beds and not a double. Also, even though a kettle was available in the room with coffee, there were no tea bags

Very convenient location if you need parking close to the highway and a lot of things to do for kids, nice outside area by the pool and kids room and the gym was good. Staff was nice and breakfast solid!

It feels a bit rundown in some aspects, needs some sprucing up here and there, some of the furniture in the rooms could be replaced and the toys in the kids rooms for example.

Comfortable Rooms, Excellent Breakfast and Warm and Welcoming Staff. Hotel has been undergoing improvements over the last few years and it really is excellent. Good family orientated hotel which is well thought out for travelling families.

Needs a bigger Car Park. Struggled to get a Parking Space which is key when using the hotel for a road trip stop over.

The room was of adequate size and provided an adequate workspace. It was provided with a wet-room, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant provided a good choice of menu, and the staff provided a excellent standard of service, despite having to cope with a very large party of more than 50.

Lovely very well kept hotel, lovely breakfast lots of staff who were very friendly and many spoke English, if we stay near Bourges again we will definitely stay in this hotel again

Not a criticism but the restaurant menu sounded very nice if you are eating in the actual restaurant but there wasn’t a huge choice of dishes and no dishes that sounded ideal for room service ie there was no simple dishes like pizza sandwiches etc and as there’s no real dining area in the bedrooms we were worried that what was on offer could be too messy to eat in the room especially when you’ve got a teenager and a 5 year old also the QR code in the room for the restaurant menu to order from our room only took us to a limited website in which we couldn’t actually open the menu ( tried on 3 different phones )

Excellent dinner. Quiet rooms despite motorway nearby.

Family room a bit small. Limites choice of fruits and yoghurts for breakfast Extra cost for a dog not added up in the booking.com price. Car park should be better managed. SUV's take up spaces for 2 normal cars.

Room, breakfast and pool were all good, dog basically allowed everywhere which was good bearing in mind it was much too hot to leave him in car even at breakfast time.

Was not much possibility to walk far with dog direct from hotel as near major road junction.

Conveniently located next to the motorway so ideal for a stopover on your way south / north. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside it is lovely. Good pool, great food.

It’s in the middle of an industrial estate but that is what make it convenient for the motorway.
