I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and there were a few things I really appreciated. First, the location is perfect just a 2-minute walk to a shopping center, which was incredibly convenient for grabbing anything I needed. Plus, the hotel is right next to a river, which added a peaceful, scenic vibe to the stay. The place itself was very clean, which always makes a big difference. I loved the unique wallpaper it was made from newspaper, which I thought was a clever and creative touch. It gave the room a quirky, yet stylish, feel. The bathroom and toilet were spotless, which I really appreciated. One of the highlights for me was the ability to cook my own meals. Having that option really made the stay more comfortable and stress-free. Plus, check-in was easy, even though the office was closed, so no hassle there. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for both singles and families looking for a convenient, clean, and laid-back place to stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Leon the helpful, kind receptionist. We arrived after 6 o'clock and reception was closed - luckily for us Leon the receptionist noticed us and came back to help us check in via a machine located at entrance. Compact apartment with a functioning kitchen. Walk in shower.

The out of hours check in machine. You need to submit your surname to gain access and our booking had gone through with my husband's first name instead. There is a phone number which we didn't need to use because of Leon returning to help us check in.

We stayed at this apartment complex for 4 nights whilst we were in town for a family wedding. The beds were so comfy, the room was lovely and had many nice finishing touches such as a great fan, earplugs, sweets on the bed for arrival. All of the staff were very helpful and it was useful to have a fridge, kettle, cutlery, plates, bowls, mugs, an electric hob, pans, knifes etc. Other reviews have mentioned how loud it can be, however we were on the main road and we didn’t find it a problem at all, we didn’t even need to use the ear plugs. The location is perfect as there is a supermarket opposite and it’s a two minute walk into the square where there is lovely restaurants and coffee shops. We would definitely stay again.

Very clean and comfortable. This is not the first time we stayed in the hotel and we’re always very happy. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Location is key for us as we like to be close to the city centre.

We love everything about it.

The location was fabulous. A breakfast cafe/ice cream place across the street, a late-night kiosk nearby. The pedestrian precinct 5 mins away on foot. Walking trail along the river, small park nearby.

Accessibility features. Entrance door difficult to open from a wheelchair. Same with room doors: very heavy. The shower would benefit from an additional shower mat (quite slippery).

The Hotel is in a perfect location It is one block away from the Old Town and a lovely pedestrian only shopping and eating area. There is a wonderful walkway next to the hotel The breakfast was great and the staff there was very friendly

I liked everything

Well maintained and set up, room nicely decorated and well set up with a good basic kitchen and great storage space for bags/clothes. Even as a family of 4 there was enough room to organise ourselves in what was a small but well thought out space. Sound proof double glazing good. Microwave and toaster rooms on each floor and job and fridge in bedroom.

Smoking smell drifting up stairwells

Wonderful place for stay in Herford, location is very convenient- ca. 10 minutes to the train station or big supermarket. The apartment was very clean and had all the necessary equipment. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

Rather barren and dingy 3rd floor corridor that appears to be renovation (if not, ot needs to be). No nets on windows; flies swarmed bathroom, so had to leave room windows shut. Rooms outside opposite very close, so no privacy and had to shut curtains.

It was modern and in excellent condition , the breakfast was served in a very competent and friendly manner . Lovely buffet and worth the almost 14,- euros …..
