The hotel was modern, clean, quiet, good shower, amenities and beds, staff was fine. We had a view of the mountain behind, maybe because we had asked for quiet.

The hotel is in an older area without a lot of amenities or restaurants nearby, but not a problem for us because we like to walk. It’s only a km or so to a supermarket, the sea promenade and tourist type restaurants. We had to leave early so the fact that they didn’t include breakfast wasn’t a problem. We found a little local Indian place around the corner for lunch, which was fine. The only tiny issue we had was the pillows being like slabs of hard rubber and not at all comfortable. A soft pillow option would be appreciated. Everything else was great!

All staffs welcomed us with a smile, very attentive as well as very helpful. We like that the hotel was very clean, the rooms were modern and well maintained. House keeping did a great job keeping our room clean, smelling fresh and our belongings organised. Wifi was working well with no laggings. TV had a many channels to choose from. Breakfast had a good variety of western, local dishes including fruits, salads to choose at the buffet. We loved that we could order breakfast eggs to our liking. Desserts we loved especially were the carrot cake, chocolate fudge and pandan coconut kuih.

Aircon in our first room was not working well and the toilet was abit too small. We requested a change in room and the hotel staff immediately gave us a new room. We really like the new room. The aircon in the new room was cold and the toilet was bigger

Place and room was relatively new, generally clean. Not much interaction with staff but they were friendly. They had a few pay channels, BBC News and Hits Movies. Housekeeping was good, everything was replenished. Breakfast included was decent, not a huge variety but enough and provided a satisfying start to the day. The fruit wasn't very fresh though. Location was not bad, walking distance to a few malls and eating places well-known online.

The space in the bathroom gave NO ROOM for normal use of the toilet bowl - the shower stall was blocking the way. Attaching a photo to show what I mean.

The staff at King Park Hotel were gracious and helpful and couldn't do enough for us, whatever time of day or night we needed their help. The rooms were clean and relatively spacious, with good hot showers, and comfortable beds and pillows. The hotel was well located and was excellent value for money.

The communal areas were not constantly air-conditioned, so the corridors and lifts were rather warm, but I guess that is more sustainable and environmentally friendly than constantly keeping everywhere cool.

Spacious room with many amenities. Great view and comfy beds. The included breakfast was very tasty with a large variety of Malaysian foods. Close to laundromats and a short walk to stores, markets and restaurants.

The aircon is situated to blow in your face as you sleep. I got sick towards the end of the stay, and whilst I don't think it's the root cause, I feel like inhaling vent-air for eight hours a day wasn't best for my conditions.

The rooms were well appointed. All amenities I needed are there -- blow dryer, fridge, kettle. Consumables in my room were replenished daily. Room was cozy and well sized. I loved the big windows looking outside the rotonda. I booked this hotel before and after my Kota Kinabalu hike and I'm so thankful that I did. I needed a comfortable space after a grueling hike. Hotel is just a few hundred meters from Gaya St. Outside there are really nice and affordable food options. Location is just perfect. Bang for your buck.

Lack of pedestrian crossing nearby. Otherwise location is perfect ❤️

Excellent service from all Staff. Really Helpful. They treat us with courtesy & care. Limited choice of food but tasty. We get Nasi Lemak, Ayam Goring Rempah, fruits, coffee, juice, cornflakes, toast & 2 types of kuih. For vegetarians, please confirm with the receptionist before making payment for breakfast to avoid disappointment. All facilities are in good condition when we stay there.

Hotel don't have parking facilities.Very difficult to get public parking. And don't forget to pay parking. 0800-1600 is paid parking. No online payment. Buy a coupon book in front of 7e. Hotel toilet too small.

The breakfast was awesome! We are served with a good variety of choices including the local nasi lemak, porridge, soup noodle and even fresh omelette that was made to order on the spot. The dessert was a plus plus point! Pudding and cakes were soft and attractive. And there were many restaurants nearby within walking distance so we did not worry much about dinner. The bed was quite comfortable.

The room was a bit warm when we first entered and it took quite some time to cool down after I tuned the aircond to the lowest temperature. Would be much more convenient if there are two chairs at the table so that 2 persons can have food at the table at one time, esp when we travel in pair.

I should pat myself for choosing correct hotel for my last day in Kota Kinabalu. We were from Kundasang and arrived at hotel around 3pm. We were quite tired but we are so grateful that the hotel staff are very helpful and always put smile on their face. The room itself was very spacious considered the cheapest room i booked. All facilities is well cleaned and maintain. I believe this hotel is the best hotel among others night i stay in Sabah. The location of hotel also was very convenient for you to mingle around the town before fly back,

None.

Great location, easy access/walk to Gaya street food, 24hr self Laundry service (6RM for each dryer n washer), convenient store and eateries. Breakfast included also has a lot variety.

Maybe just Malaysia hotel in general, I found it hard to control the shower hot/cold water, tend to be super hot even tho it's already at cold selection.
