Staff was very helpful & friendly. Breakfast was good but little trivial things were missing (like a toaster). If you don't speak Spanish you may have a little bit of a disconnect getting what you need. Front desk guy was great.
Not surprisingly, there's an up-charge for everything. Laundry, cabs, recommendations for tours. Also, depending on who your neighbors are, things may get loud. For two nights we had ppl camping?/drunk right under our balcony until the break of dawn. Not the hotel's fault but still annoying that there was nothing we could do.

Everything, think it was my favourite place I've ever stayed and thats not a short list. Room was on the ground floor with the sea view and was quite literally on the beach, I could hear the waves from my bed at night. Seats on little balcony outside the room plus loungers on the beach if needed. Beach was gorgeous and got to sit and watch the birds dive bombing to catch fish for hours. Saw a little sea lion playing in the waves one day too. Really quiet and peaceful. Staff were all kind and helpful and the breakfast was good, served on the rooftop. All very clean, absolutely no faults and I hope I'm lucky enough to go back one day.
Nothing really, if I had to pick something the rooms are a little small but who cares when you open the sliding doors and you've got a whole beach

I had broken my ankle whilst in Ecuador where we were for a week before we arrived in The Galapagos so I messaged the Cormorant Beach Hotel to warn them about my disability and ask if I could have a room on the ground floor. They organized this for me and allowed my family to collect our breakfast from the top floor where it was served and bring it to our room to eat there as I could not have got up to the top floor. The position of the hotel is fantastic - right on a lovely beach and within easy reach of some great restaurants. There is a little lagoon with flamingos only a 5 minute walk from the hotel but I could not manage even that short distance with my crutches in the heat of the day so the hotel arranged for a taxi to take me there to photograph the birds (sitting on a chair borrowed from the hotel as can be seen in the photo) and the lady from the hotel then helped us to get a cab to take us back after. The staff were very helpful and I would recommend The Cormorant Beach hotel as a great base for staying on Isabella Island.
Nothing - the hotel was as expected and made a great base for our time on Isabella Island.

Great location, friendly staff especially Natalie at reception, coffee/tea available throughout day, on the beach, quiet, all amenities in room.
Breakfast needs improving. The two staff seemed rushed and stressed out, as most guests came at the opening time of 7am. It would be much better to start breakfast earlier (6 or 6.30) especially given a lot of the tours start collection from 7am! And also the selection at breakfast was VERY limited and unhealthy- just sugary cereals (coco pops and Frosties), croissants, small amount of fruit. You can ask for eggs, but the portion size was TINY. Would be nice to have a proper coffee machine too, with cappuccino options etc. But the breakfast restaurant and views are very nice.

The young man working at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. He explained everything and offered us some extras which was really nice. We were able to leave our things in the room and use the room until we left the next day because the room was not rented out which was really kind of him. Were are on the ocean side and it was beautiful. The breakfast in the morning that was included was better than any place we stayed at where it was included and they were also very friendly in the restaurant as well. nice open air restaurant on top of the hotel so nice view as well.
We liked everything about this place. nothing to complain about at all accept for it is not easy to find. A little sign on the road and you walk up a sandy walk way between a business to get to it. That would be our only complaint. If the taxi guy didn't ask someone we had no idea accept what the name of the hotel was.

The most beautiful B&B in the most beautiful location. The room was kept thoroughly clean every day and the decor was gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was the best we’d had in a couple of weeks of traveling! The view speaks for itself… waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the ocean is like nothing I’ve experienced before. Watching the pelicans, blue footed boobies, frigates and marine iguanas from the balcony was just epic. Nathaly was a gracious host. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Every other member of the team that worked there was exactly the same. Always smiling! Breakfast was good too. It’s on the rooftop looking over the beach. It isn’t big, but plenty to fill up on and always very tasty. The location was right on the main road with plenty of bars and restaurants including Pink Iguana Bar just two along. We were so sad to leave! Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Everything based on previous review is true!! Get the sea view room!! We love that they made up our room everyday… we appreciate it!! For breakfast, there’s a live egg cooking station … and you can order any type of eggs …fried, hard boiled, omelette etc .. And as most of tour started very early, they offered earlier breakfast around 645am to accommodate us.. Also, as our ferry was very early.. they have pre-arranged a breakfast box for us with us asking … and the pick up to ferry arrived before the time stated..
For breakfast, other than the egg station the Choice becomes very limited .. there’s only 2 types of cereal, 2 types of bread …and 2 types of jams, almond milk, coffee and tea .. this made up the whole breakfast selection … And they are able to cater to VEGAN, but will need to inform reception the night before …

Stepping straight out of this B&B onto the golden sand you may have to walk at least 20 feet before the start of the surf at high tide! Fantastic location, comfortable, nicely decorated rooms close to all necessary amenities and close to an easily walkable (100m) range of on-the-beach cocktail shacks and restaurants. Would happily stay here again, ideal for exploring Isabella - but also taking a few beach days out from the whole Galapagos ecological wonder holiday.
Absolutely nothing to complain about

An incredible place with a perfect location to watch the sunset and sunrise every day! The room is oceanfront with direct access to the beach. You can see sea lions and pelicans at any time. The facilities are very clean and well-maintained with all the amenities provided. The staff is very pleasant and professional! The breakfast is delicious with an excellent view of the entire bay!

Beautiful, spectacular location right on the beach. It’s just far away enough from any pub or bar to properly enjoy the silence that people come to Isabella for, but a short walk away from anything you could possibly need - shops, ice cream, a cold Cocktail. My friend brought a yoga mat with her and we had miles and miles of beach entirely to ourselves in the morning. The breakfast terrace and breakfast itself both wonderful. The living room area downstairs is a lovely place to read.
One suggestion: the location some comfortable lounge chairs and umbrella facing the beach would be lovely outside :)
