Breakfast was fine - nothing special.

Pictures showed arm chairs in the rooms. Our room did not have one. I asked about it and was told to just take a chair from the bar area or one of the computer chairs. My husband has a difficult time sitting in a straight chair and when booking a hotel, I usually ask to make sure the rooms have one. This time I did not since the pictures showed they were provided. We did meet friends and sat in the lobby which was very comfortable and a cozy setting. It was nice having the coffee station there but water in the pots was cold so did not actually use them.

Very clean. Good breakfast. Enjoyed the beer and wine bar to relax in the evenings. Comfortable beds and pillow. Cute little pantry are where you could get additional snacks shampoo conditioner and body wash in the shower. Comfortable common areas in the lobby. We would absolutely stay again and will recommend to others.

I come up to stay at this hotel when we come and see our son at Dordt college. The college is about 15 minutes away, and I could stay at a hotel in that city, but I willingly drive the 15 minutes out to Rock Valley and stay at this hotel. The rooms are very clean, and have comfortable beds with many pillows which I appreciate. The hotel is very quiet, so it is easy to get good rest. The front desk staff is absolutely amazing! Every time I have been there they have been more than accommodating to help with anything you might need. Very friendly as well. I love their breakfast too!

Only one thing I wasn’t sure about. I have always been able to get what’s known as a “Dordt Defender” rate when we come to do something w our son at school. It’s honestly really helpful since we drive from a few hours away and gas is pricey. I had been getting a room for $99 but last week it was $125. It’s still cheaper than reg price. I just wondered though if it was a mistake possibly. I wasn’t sure if it was higher until I got home and saw the $99 receipt from 2weeks ago. It’s still a great place to stay and I have only the best things to say about the visits I’ve had.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, beds were great, and very clean. Lots of breakfast options, and also a bar and some food options in the evening.

Only complaint was the waffle batter machine, either the mix was made to thick or the machine was clogged.

Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean. Loved the walk in shower since I have mobility issues.

I was really disappointed in the breakfast. Scrambled eggs were wet and luke warm. Potatoes were basically warm and gritty. Disappointed with the breakfast after paying 220.00 per night. Figured the fare would be better than the breakfast at our other 100.00 per night hotel stays.

The hotel was much nicer than it had any right to be given the location. All of the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was also clean and spacious.

Not the staffs fault but elevator was broken. We were on 2nd floor but the staff stepped up and helped carry our bags for us!

Breakfast was pretty standard fare. The hotel was modern, up to date, clean, and very attractive. Beds were comfortable. The Hotel was quiet.

Everything, with the exception of the front desk lady at check in she was very unfriendly .I felt as though she wished I wasn't wanted Morning staff was all smiling and helpful
