Love the convenience of the hotel and always affordable. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and fairly updated. Beds are surprisingly comfortable. Site manager is always very nice when we have visited. Easy walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. We live over an hour from Kemah so when we meet up with friends we stay at this hotel and we can walk around downtown, have drinks and not worry about driving.

Most rooms have a nice view of the boat docks. The Property is only about a 10 minute walk to the main boardwalk area, with plenty of other restaurants well within that distance in every direction. It’s also extremely short drive to the nearest Target and Walmart.

The property has definitely seen better days, but all things considered it’s a great deal.

It was walking distance from the boardwalk. It was quiet with a convenience store close. walking distance to most restaurants. The rooms were neat and clean. No frills and I got coupons to local restaurants. The staff was available and the rooms were big enough to move around in.

If I nit pick... there were a few areas around the exterior and office that were in disrepair. (almost exclusively behind the desk. The vending machine is broken and looks gross. Parking was not ideal. But just finding thing. I really have no major complaints.

the hotel has a perfect location with view on the harbor. The rooms are clean and comfortable but the biggest advantage is that you are within walking distance of a lot of good restaurants, bars and Kemah boardwalk.

THE LOCATION is PERFECT! We were able to walk to all the shops, restaurants, bars and attractions easily. The staff was nice, our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and linens. There is a convivence store right across the street so that was helpful also.

There is alot of road noise, but that of course is no fault of the hotel. I did not go to get breakfast so I am not sure there was any.

We have stayed at this Scottish Inn in Kemah a few times. We plan to stay there again on our next trip to south Texas. The staff is wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect. The cost is very reasonable. We love it!

Location

This place is kind of run down, outdated and not maintained very well. Considering the fact that it's located at one of the busiest boardwalks in the nation, I think they could drastically increase profits with some updating and good housekeeping.

The place is older, but was very nice. There is no breakfast of any kind for someone looking for that. Your literary 200ft from bordwalk and restaurants so very convenient to never get in your vehicle until you leave from your stay. Owner was very nice. If your going and want a quiet place traffic is very noisy and bands from restaurants so stay somewhere around Kemah. But if your looking for nightlife perfect spot, you can walk. If your a picky person go stay at a 5star because you won't be happy!!So I didn't take any pics, just didn't have much time but will be back!!

There was construction going on and it was difficult to get in and out of the parking lot with lots of detour and lots of noise during the day

Location was great! Beautiful view of the water, and sailboats. Super close to the Kemah Boardwalk. Very clean. Very nice staff.

Rooms aren't very sound proof. We could hear the TV and people in the room next to us pretty loudly until 2 or 3 in the morning. . Second night we just kept the AC on constant fan and that helped a little.
